ADI bought LLTC at 28% higher than market

I believe semi stocks are sell now. For example ADI paid a hefty price to but LLTC which will take years to get out even. ADI bonds are downgraded by moody because of that. I expect a big pull back on ADI stock in a week. AAPL future will depend on it pending product and market.

Dividend is not free. They cut the stock price and pay you back as dividend. It is like taking money from one pocket and putting it in the other pocket. If the stock does not appreciate (in MCD case it has) in value, dividend is meaningless and sometimes dangerous.
