Let's say they make $4 per share each year (which is much more than they make now). With a P/E of 200 !! , it should be worth $800. What is going on ?

Check out this chart. It shows the earning estimate and their actual earnings. I believe this quarter estimate was analysts mistake. If you look at the previous quarter earnings this quarter was reasonable and not that great.

Some big institutions are selling and retail investors are buying. Not good. Very good result but does not justify this pop.

Now it shows AMZN has matured and can provide earnings. So it should have a reasonable P/E like Walmart. It should not be treated as a speculative stock so the stock should actually go down.
