Is the fund's trading going to be discretionary or fully automated? If fully automated, I might be willing to help under the right circumstances. FWIW, I trade my own account fully automated and have clients I do consulting for using my tools/setup up trading fully automated.

The platform I use has the concept of exchanges and an exchange has a time zone so you could have multiple symbols for a strategy all with their own current time.

Yes...I agree that the metric to look at is the healthcare capacity. Regarding masks, I live in Florida and every store I go into people are wearing masks. The anti-maskers are not the majority.

I can only speak for SigmaTrader which I use (supports C# or Python). Others in this thread have vouched for other platforms such as NinjaTrader. MotiveWave which is a sponsor on this site is Java based and can be run on Mac.

So, this is a very doable project and can be accomplished without spending a fortune. If you can meet the requirements without needing real time data it will be even more simple.
