Who is your broker? You can place a stop/limit overnight for SPY. Also, I assume you are either claiming trader tax status and are aware of the wash sale rule with regard to trading SPY. MES is much better suited for short term trading than SPY for tax reasons.

I agree with MrMuppet....you have no edge. When you have a strategy you are confident in with clearly defined rules, you are less likely to deviate from your plan and place pointless trades.
