Next chart are the levels on Bonds. We failed almost to the tick at the yearly A down. Very impressive. Last year we initially failed at the yearly A up before breaking out. And where was that breakout? The debt ceiling debacle in July!

Coffee has been bouncing off the monthly A down here at 175. That level is holding but only one more day in the month. The QTR A down is 165. That is the level to watch until we get next month's levels.

Yeah Quon, I don't understand that either. My math might be a little rusty. :) This is why I started creating my own number lines. At least I know why and how the numbers add up.

The 5 day rolling number line for Crude is +3. But it has picked up momentum lately. Five days ago it was -10. On my monthly number line which re-sets at the beginning of each month is -3. The range on the monthly has been -6 and +4. I consider strong signals to be +/- 7. So the monthly...

Then the number lines started to firm up really fast when we tested the QTR A...

As far as how I deal with the +24 numbers, the 5 day rolling really shows the change in momentum and that is precisely why I created that.

MFB, thanks for posting the file! Just so I am reading this right, is the 30 day number line for ES +9? Is it the 30 day cum ABCD line? I never know which line is which when I look at that.

MBF, the number lines have been very strong in a lot of sectors and in the indices they have been moderately strong. I don't know why you would think the market should sell off. What are you basing that on? The number lines have been spot on all year. They have led the market higher and...
