I still do not believe in this "midnight rally" stuff ... being so reliable ... perhaps the majority of higher opens occurs when the FTSE / DAX are higher too do not see this happening on days when they are more than a few ticks lower pre US open.

I have heard that one can get some HF info on bloomberg ... do any of these HF databases give out free info ? I guess I could see if I am eligible for a free trial and look up any HF info needed i.e. historical returns "tiger" funds run by xyz managers

not sure if IB 's IDEAL PRO FX has slippage on stops ... but perhaps one can enter a stop / limit order there , and thus there will be no slippage ( maybe DEF or Steve can answer this ) ( of course in fast market conditions you might not get filled either )

if you open an account with IB you can watch both FX spot and FX futures at the same time

there are indicators that are more important or just as important as tick / trin but one also needs to know what is working and what is not year to year / month to month week to week / day to day
