how long typically does a laptop work before it craps out ? I had bought a toshiba a few yrs ago and in the last yr its motherboard or something related to bios messed up and it does not boot up or if it does ... it stops again meaning stops booting up

hello ... I do not wish to dispute a "trade" I made but something happened to me last night that has not happened in a few yrs I placed my mouse over the offer price on my TWS screen but I did not click on mouse and was using limit order immediately I was executed at the offer...

is this some sort of electronic order that gets written up on the floor and then taken to a pit broker while the IB customer waits for news of execution etc ? I assume the pit brokers "give-up" IB as clearing firm for these customer orders if the data feed is realtime maybe it will...
