    Racist White People...Again?

Goes both ways Brass. Or are you never going to admit that there is such thing as "reverse racism"?

Mav invites RCG to dinner...will he accept?

It's a two way street. You are simply blind to this fact.

Mav invites RCG to dinner...will he accept?

You've got it ass backwards per usual. It's really more like why would any of the aforementioned names want to go to dinner with a guy who admitted to spending time in "county jail", who admits that he is prone to violence and who is the biggest racist on this messageboard? It's become...

Sounds like a solid corporate slogan.

    Why is Romney in Europe?

I think you mis-spoke. Plenty of people were nervous about what Clinton might or might not do during those Lewinski days. Hell, Wag the Dog was released a few months before the scandal broke...it sure made people think about "life imitating art" and all the rest. Granted, I view Clinton in...

How did Forex change so much from 2008 till now

Of course it will, but it will be pandemonium. I think of it more akin to "instant re-pricing", not the sort of tradeable volatility that we saw a decade or so ago. Since the bureaucrats have essentially "become the markets". i.e. whatever rumor they want to release at any times to move the...

    Good synopsis.

    So this is trickle down?

What both you and Captain have described is a good synopsis of the past 20+ years of offshoring. Recurrent union/management negotiations back in the 70's/80's precipitated the exodus. The current spotlight on alot of the public sector "negotiations" if one can even call them that takes...

    So this is trickle down?

As many before me have stated: It's CRITICAL to differentiate between private sector and public sector unions. Obviously, that little tidbit gets lost in all of this "back and forth", but the public sector unions and their largesse is what is really breaking the back of this country.

    So this is trickle down?

If you put together an entire Ricter "profile", all the pieces come together. I think of him as a "do as I say, not as I do" kind of character. Think Nancy Pelosi. He's all about re-distribution in a very vague, general sense. He'll support just about any liberal cause, but if it touches...

    Market Crash

Realistically, you can find similar chart patterns in the lost decade(s) of Japan, US in the 1930's, etc, etc... It's also worth mentioning that a "bull market" doesn't double off the lows in 2+ years, especially with an angle of ascent such as that. Of course, whenever one brings up...

We Added $2.33 In Debt For Every $1.00 In GDP

Another aspect of this situation that you are probably overlooking is very simple, yet ultimately devestating. By "pinning" rates at artificially low levels, it actually encouraged MORE treasury borrowing (in a roundabout way, you think this is a good thing). Instead of actually making...

We Added $2.33 In Debt For Every $1.00 In GDP

I guess that he'll just overlook the overwhelming influence of the Federal Reserve on these low rates. Between their direct purchases or the broker-dealers who purchase them, flip them right back to the Fed, etc... Only a lemming would believe that these historically low rates were due to...

Spot on, it's part of the "kill two birds with one stone" entitlement that politico's salivate over.

Draghi just put a floor under the market, hmm

Just to re-iterate since nobody seems to be paying much attention. The market crashed in early 2000 "an election year". The market collapsed in 2008 "an election year". So, 2 out of the past 3 election year's have resulted in market "turbulence", yet there's "no chance" of it occurring again.

Draghi just put a floor under the market, hmm

It also did in 2000. So 2 out of the last 3 elections, the market went in the tank and you are calling people idiot's again. Of course, you're also a pussy who has put half of this board on ignore.

GOP senators launch tour warning of defense cuts

Yep, the current crop aren't worth a damn. Too many credit bubble baby boomer a-holes in both parties. The "old guard" politico's had some guts...and perhaps when this "Great Recession" wipes out the hopes of the current generation, we'll return to some principle and sanity...but I'm not...

Rahm Emaneul is ok with anti Jew but not anti gay?

FWIW, USA Today mentioned that the birthrate is at 25 year lows. Obviously, we've all seen what happened to birthrates in Japan during their "lost decade(s)".
