    Unions

My biggest problem are the legacy costs. I'm less troubled with the wages they make during their working years (and yes in many instances they are non-competitive with the private sector), but the fact that the taxpayers are responsible for the legacy costs of a broken pension system is the...

    Unions

Good points, but the public sector entitlement is a serious anchor to the finances of many states. It's no coincidence that the state's with some of the worst credit ratings have the most onerous pension liabilities with very limited prospects for fulfilling these future benefits.

    Unions

I agree with this, however I'm also party in agreement with the OP, but I'd argue that getting those escalating public pension liabilities under control should be the top priority. As to whether or not the money is flushed down the toilet is another topic.

    The Ron Paul Chronicles

Completely disagree. Obama appeared to be a great public speaker 4 years ago when the hopium high was still going strong...when his captive audience believed in every line of bullshit that was re-directed from the teleprompter to his lips. The honeymoon is over and a straight talker like Ron...

    Debtors prison returns!

Like I said, I agree in principle with the concept, but get real. We can start with ending the welfare state and go from there. But yes I have sympathy for those who ACTUALLY TRY AND STILL GET FUCKED. So pardon me if I actually make a critical distinction between the true parasites and...

    Debtors prison returns!

I'm on board with alot of your slogans, but you seem to get carried away. There is a world of difference between those who suck on the government tit via welfare, food stamps, Section 8 housing, etc, etc...and say the working poor who get shafted by the gigantic "stealth tax" of inflation and...

    Debtors prison returns!

Nah, I'm not going to put you on ignore. I'll continue to call out your stupidity when I see fit.

America on the rebound with Obama Administration Policies

I missed your post, but we're on the same wavelength. We are currently living thru the repurcussions of the welfare state run amok. Those with the least capacity to raise children have been given the economic incentive to have as many children as possible from as many father's as they see fit...

America on the rebound with Obama Administration Policies

Sort of a pipe dream really. Until you address the violent gangbanging element that has completely overtaken a city like Detroit, good luck ever making a dent in a revitalization project. Likewise the school system will never make any headway if you have these same gangbangers patrolling...

Tomorrow Night - Better than MNF - Ron Paul in 1st place!

Yes, completely on target as usual. Funny how the past few weeks I've seen one Ron Paul bashing thread after the next on here. The usual hard core leftists like "Free Thinker" have a real hard on for bashing RP. On the other hand, we have the contingent on Neo-cons that are jumping on the...

    Debtors prison returns!

Yes, this is more accurate. Peil is a complete dipshit. I've seen so many of these idiotic posts from him in the past year or so that I figure the guy lost his mind awhile ago.

    Do politicians trust each other?

Cheney a corporate guy?? The guy was a part of the Nixon Administration along with Rumsfeld.

The military is being used to protect our freedoms

Agreed. There is alot of "shoot the messenger, ignore the message" going on nowadays.

Romney would veto immigration "dream" act

Just like Hopey. Mittens is Obama 2008 redux.

    Romney 45 Obama 39

But in all fairness, you also have a "position bias", as do many of the rest of us, who can't stand Hopey McChange.

Ron Paul Receives His Biggest Endorsement Yet!

No, only the neo-con turds were celebrating Newt's rise to temporary prominence.

Read This & Tell Me Ron Paul's Not a Kook

This is about as much bullshit spin as I'd expect from an Ari Fleischer or a Mike McCurry. You've outdone yourself with this utter load of crap. I'm just waiting for the typical parrot line of "well, they've paid back all the outstanding loans".... Funny, how a few years after we heard...
