Hawker, a side question; what kind of stops are you using on YM? I tried trading the YM but it moved around "randomly" a bit too much and I was getting stopped out of a lot of good trades. How do you handle the random noise in YM? -Fast

Thanks for all the posts guys. Next week is "expirement-week" for me. On Monday, I will trade ES watching ES only. On Tueday or Wednesday, I plan on trading NQ only. You'll see the results in my Journal. Thanks, and if anyone has any other thoughts or comments, please post on. -Fast

Thanks Hawker. Just want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly: NQ will lead up moves and down moves. So it is helpful to watch NQ when trading ES since one can take a position in ES based on a strong move in NQ? -Fast

spyderman, post more...I totally understand what you're saying. I'd like to focus more on ES since I go for quick hits for 4-6ticks and I like the fact that the quick hits are worth more in ES :D For now, I just watch ES and NQ, but I'm wondering if watching NQ to trade ES is helpful at all...

Well, I like the 5 min. chart better for my style, but I did not put on any trades this AM. I love shorting and saw it, but was too hesitant to get in. Yesterday's bad trading had me down a bit so no real$ trades this AM. -Fast

I think it takes a lot of discipline to 'properly' paper-trade. I could never do it right since the outcome of the trades didn't matter. -Fast

OK, I've changed my time-frames a bit tonight. I've replaced the 10 min. charts with a 5 min. chart. From studying the 5 min. chart for today, I think this will help. We'll see. -Fast
