getting historical price data from eSignal into Excel

Will it be included in a new version of eSignal, or are you or another company making it? If so, will there be a fee? Thanks

getting historical price data from eSignal into Excel

BTW, here is why I don't want to use data export in eSignal: In order for the data to show up in the data export window, it has to be on the chart. But to use part of my previous example, say I want the last 15 closing prices of the 11:00 AM bar. Before I go to data export, I have to go back...

getting historical price data from eSignal into Excel

This might be asking a lot, but here's an example of what I want to do: Say I'm working with 1 minute bars. Now say I want the closing price of every day's 10:00 AM bar for the last 5 days. <-- just an example. I know I can use eSignal's data export to do this, but I'm wondering if there's...

    Does Baron have an alias?

If I were Baron, I'd probably have a professional alias for running ET (Baron), and at least one other alias for trading, chit chat, etc. What do you think?

    stupid laws

You mentioned organizations which help people overcome homosexual tendencies. The only homosexuals that would go to something like that are gay religious fanatics that think being gay is bad. I don't care how often they go to some place to help them, they are going to be attracted to males...

    money equals happiness ???

zboy2854A, Good post. Here's something I believe. Although it may be true that those of us who are not rich are still in the top wealthiest 8% in the world, that's the big picture. I believe how someone feels is still relative to their own life. For example, we all know about the rich and...

    money equals happiness ???

Good post. I know exactly what you mean. I'm not suicidal or anything, but it does really suck when you have no money. I contain my frustration good when I'm around my friends, I'm still one of the best people to drink with etc., but when I'm alone, inside my mind I'm very frustrated.

    Random Walk Contest Week 1

That's the real question for all of us. I'm making progress. :) I have a feeling this quote is going to apply to me: "There is nothing like losing all you have in the world for teaching you what not to do. And when you know what not to do in order not to lose money, you begin to learn what to...

time orders (IB should do this)

Quiet1, That's exactly what I'm talking about. Once you know what would make you exit a trade, why not set up a OCA group, like in your example, and go do something else? Yeah, it would take IB some work, but if it would make their customers happy, why not do it? If they can do orders...

time orders (IB should do this)

I already know about MOC orders, but I think this is a good idea. We're all familiar with entering buy/sell orders with price specifications. For example, a stop order at 800. Why don't brokers let you specify a time of day or time period to trigger an order? For example, if I'm long, why...
