    Jim Roger's HOUSE SELLS FINALLY!

I don't even believe that he really trades the markets . . . atleast not since he took his partnership money from the Soros and the Quantum Fund back in the early 80's. Next to Cramer, ( in my opinion ) he is one of the biggest self-promotors known in the financial markets. He constantly...

    12,500 was strong support

This is the 5th week of the decline, so we are getting close to making a trade-able low in my opinion. Today, I had support levels in the SPX of 1324.20, 1319.75, and the all-important 1315.35 for an extreme move.

    Best ETF to short oil?

You are sadly mistaken. OIH is not a very accurate "proxy" for shorting crude oil. The OIH is an oil-service index. 83% of the components are: BHI CAM DO HAL NOV NE SLB SII RIG WFT

iF WE PUT THINGS INTO PERSPECTIVE

More money being managed. More hedge-funds. More program trading activity, AND no uptick rule for shorting anymore. That is what accelerates the moves these days. Pretty simple.

What to do with an 800 rebate?

Romney is advocating a $250 BILLION DOLLAR stimulus plan that not only includes business investment incentives, but also ZERO cap gains for anyone making less than $200k. Wow!

    12,500 was strong support

Yep. Have 1315 SPX as an extreme. We will have to see how she closes. :)

    Ewj: elliott wave

    Vix

The last several major lows in the market saw the VIX spike to 31. I had a key number at 1324 SPX ( as posted earlier this week ) to terminate this decline, with 1315 being the extreme. http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=1750054#post1750054 :)

The CFO told the street to look for $8.20 to $8.30 per share, instead of the consensus $7.94 per share in 2008.

    This is getting ugly

Why would you think that Bernanke can clean-up this mess by fielding absurd questions from representatives on the House Budget Committee, most of whom have never even taken a basic Econ. 101A course . . . In other words, ask dumb questions . . . get dumb answers.

Can you all feel the tension ?

Vix at 28.30 ( previous "tension" peaked at 31 )

Can you all feel the tension ?

That would be Marcy Kaptur of Ohio. Just pathetic.

Can you all feel the tension ?

That would be representative Xavier Becerra who ran for mayor of Los Angeles in 2001. He finished with 6% of the vote even though he makes his home in LA. A lawyer from Stanford. He is the assistant to the Speaker in the 110th Congress. Never met an Appropriations Bill that he didn't like...

Can you all feel the tension ?

It's amazing how these people have no clue whatsoever. Just mind-boggling! They would never first think about the issue being SPENDING. No way. No how.
