Marc Faber, Dollar Will Eventually Go to Value of Zero, Oct 26, 2009

I don't really have a good answer on that one, and have never personally tried buying distant month contracts. I stick with (near-month) futures, ETF's or leveraged ETF's (like DGP), despite the drawbacks.

Marc Faber, Dollar Will Eventually Go to Value of Zero, Oct 26, 2009

Your point is completely valid. Anticipating the dollar's demise is one thing, but actually cheering & rooting for it to happen is the dominion of short-sighted fools. Nobody would truly benefit from that. ...

Marc Faber, Dollar Will Eventually Go to Value of Zero, Oct 26, 2009

Awesome! Going forward, I expect to see a slow grinding uptrend in gold, eventually peaking in an orgasm-spike top. Instead of just buying and holding, I'll be constantly adjusting my position size; Buying more on dips, and lightening up whenever we get near the top of the channel.

    The USA—A Failed State

Marc Faber, Dollar Will Eventually Go to Value of Zero, Oct 26, 2009

Faber's statement is hardly outrageous. ALL types of unbacked fiat 'money' are inherently more illusion than currency, and they ALWAYS end up getting devalued down to zero eventually. P.S. Buy this dip in gold and thank me...

Try saying 'Muslim Technology' with a straight face...

Actually, I too wouldn't be surprised if I was an IDF veteran, sergeant, honorably discharged, either. Especially considering the few dozen times I've already mentioned that fact on these boards.

    Sensory Defensiveness/Hypersensitivity

Tons of great replies here, and I'll have to try some of your suggestions. There's an entire list of 'other things' that have a tendency to overlap with sensory defensiveness (but not always). *Aspergers/autism spectrum/PDD. I knew someone would bring that up, especially since the key word...

    Sensory Defensiveness/Hypersensitivity

Thanks, and I totally understand. If this were a thread about some semi-obscure psychological disorder that had absolutely no effect on me or anyone else I knew, I certainly wouldn't give a damn either. However.... just wait and see the responses. I'm positive that quite a few ET members...

Well, I can tell you all about that from first hand experience... at least in regard to opiates. (Opiates were my sole habit. Never had a coke problem because I merely like coke, never loved it.) So, what do you get? Depression relief, back before I was able to figure out a...

Proof that Israel is #1 theat to our freedom

To introduce an entirely foreign concept to you, it's called an obvious self-depreciating humorous remark. People without a stick up their ass are known to do this occasionally. Look it up if you don't believe me.
