more diversity and sensitivity police at work

Canyonman, are you really predicting a significant shift of African-American voters toward the Republican party? IMO, that seems pretty far-fetched at this point.

    please allow Exchanges/Coinz back...

For those who miss his jokes, you can find coinz' newest stuff here: http://skalpz.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_skalpz_archive.html This works a bit better if you read it sequentially- from bottom to top instead of vice versa...

I second that! Coinz is a talented comedian, and definitely worth having around.

more diversity and sensitivity police at work

I'm an ethnic minority, and what these 'diversity crusaders' need to understand is that force feeding massive helpings of diversity and multiculturalism down the white man's throat every day is not in our best interests. Poke a sleeping bear with a stick once or twice, and you'll...

If saying "Se Habla Español" isn't bigotry (which it isn't), saying you're an English speaking American isn't bigotry either.

    GOOG today

I have no directional opinion on GOOG, but making decisions with the mindset of "I've got to get back up to breakeven on this trade" ... is the second common psychological mistake traders make. If you can't say for sure that this is what you're trying to do, I'd just fold this hand and play...

    GOOG today

Hajimow, I make that exact same mistake all the time. The cycle goes like this: Big gain-> Overconfidence to the point of dangerous hubris -> Big loss.

Another child predator we can "study" to satisfy the Libs

I have no interest in this Left vs. Right bullshit. However, I am interested in learning more about child molesters from Ricter, who seems to have more life experience dealing with them, than all of the rest of us combined. A couple years ago, when I mentioned how I understood the...

    1oz Platinum American Eagle coins

In case anyone cares, today I sold 30% of my gold bullion. (Held for 5-6 years) We'll see if I live to regret this decision. Would have been much sweeter had I also bought silver, but gold was (and is) my only metal holding.

    1oz Platinum American Eagle coins

IMO, not taking physical delivery would pretty much defeat the entire purpose of buying physical bullion. If it's a short term bullion trade (as opposed to a long term investment/hedge), you're better off just trading the futures or ETF.

    1oz Platinum American Eagle coins

I just did the math. Even before paying nuelco's additional shipping charges, the 1% commission puts the spreads a bit worse than my two preferred merchants, mentioned above.

    1oz Platinum American Eagle coins

If you want the tightest bullion bid-ask spreads in the world, buy from Tulving or AJPM. If you'd like to needlessly waste large sums of money, choose a different bullion merchant. EDIT: Whoa scratch that!... I just checked bulliondirect.com , which has ridiculously tight spreads posted...

A quick search of ebay & froogle yielded nothing. Can someone post a link to a merchant offering these devices?

    Synthetic Vs Wood stocks

As a veteran, I can tell you that a soldier wants his weapon to be A: Reliable and B: Lightweight. Forget aesthetics, give me whatever gets the job done and weighs the least.

Another child predator we can "study" to satisfy the Libs

Are you saying that if you didn't already know these men were convicted pedophiles, one of them could fool you or I into thinking he's a completely normal, decent guy? There's no repulsive creepiness about them that sets off mental alarm bells? Since you clearly know more about these...

Another child predator we can "study" to satisfy the Libs

One more thing, and I've mentioned this before, putting a child molester to death is letting him off easy when compared to the alternative (life in prison). These are not happy & successful people. They're all complete losers. Failures at everything and talented at nothing. Like...

But if the legal system worked that way in the first place, vigilante justice would be a moot point.

    Turtle Traders?

Curtis Faith? I heard recently that you were bored with trading, and currently trying your hand at something else down in the USVI. Any truth to the rumors?
