Tax cuts for the rich passes again

Ok, here's the problem with this paragraph, Pabst: Every serious portfolio has both speculative investments, and "cash" (Money market accounts, CD's, Investment grade short term paper, etc...) The real rate of inflation is what?... 7%? 8% per year? I'm talking about the real...

    Traders having ADD?

About ten different doctors gave me nothing but wrong answers, so I was forced to find the proper treatment on my own... Doc, I'd be very interested in your reaction to my essay on refractory depression: www.ProhibitionKills.blogspot.com I already know you'll agree that when it comes to...

Moving to the US from the UK

Yeah, and it annoys the hell out of me. Last year, a friend of mine in Israel wanted to visit me here in Illinois for a couple weeks. They denied her a travel visa, ruining our plans. It's ok for millions of illegal aliens to drive around without insurance ( 15 mph below the speed limit...

Does Israel have the firepower to wipe Iran off the map?

Oh yeah, there are merely a handful of rare Isamic radicals who misunderstand their peaceful religion... Percentage of American Christians who support Tim McVeigh: Under 0.001% Percentage of people expressing "a lot of confidence" or "some confidence" in bin Laden: In the Palestinian...

Start shorting Gold...you can buy it cheaper on Ebay now than in the markets.

On second thought, my previous post wasn't entirely logical. One ounce silver rounds can be purchased for under $1 above spot. Therefore, attributing the premium of one ounce gold bullion pieces to smelting & minting costs doesn't make much sense. A more logical reason for the premium...

Does Israel have the firepower to wipe Iran off the map?

Unlike Arafat, who was a master of misdirection & deceit, I don't think Iran & Hezbollah have even made any efforts to deny or cover up the very basic facts I presented above.

Does Israel have the firepower to wipe Iran off the map?

Iran directly finances & commands Hezbollah. Hezbollah periodically fires Katusha rockets upon civilian targets within Israel's borders. Question: Can anyone say this does not qualify as a clear example of Casus Belli?

Start shorting Gold...you can buy it cheaper on Ebay now than in the markets.

The best way is to buy the 1 oz. bullion coins from the two merchants I mentioned above. Tulving has krugerrands for under $10 over spot. The spot price only applies to 100 oz. bricks, which are cheaper to smelt & mint.

Start shorting Gold...you can buy it cheaper on Ebay now than in the markets.

After ebay fees & paypal fees, you'd probably come out ahead by just selling it to tulving or ajpm. Anyone feel like doing the math?

If you had to choose between the death penalty, and life in prison...

...but life in a supermax prison isn't really much of a 'life' at all, but more like a living death. No friends, no sex, no beer, no steak, no work, no pets, no internet...

    CME Galley was Open today

Does anyone here understand the logic behind the CME's decision to close the visitor's gallery after 9/11? I mean seriously, what a pussy move- capitulating to terrorism. It's not like it's impossible to implement adequate security measures up there. Maybe they wanted the gallery closed for...

If you had to choose between the death penalty, and life in prison...

Who said I was depressed out of pity for the prisoners??? First of all, let me clarify a few things: I was concripted into the Israeli army, and served as an MP babysitting captured terrorists and other assorted enemies of Israel. One of my main points of misery wasn't cruel...

If you had to choose between the death penalty, and life in prison...

Didn't you find it difficult to keep your spirits up in such a bad karma environment? I hadn't suffered from depression at all until my three years out in the shit. Ten years later, and I'm still fighting to suppress it. I suppose there are some factors which would have made your prison work...

If you had to choose between the death penalty, and life in prison...

What if you (theoretically) had a grim choice to make with your own life: Either be put to death via lethal injection, or be sentenced to life in a supermax U.S. prison, with no possibility of parole or pardon. I know you'd never commit a crime worthy of such punishment, but just leave...

    Im movin' to Mexico

God fucking damnit, I'm getting the impression that Mexico only discussed ending prohibition, in order to use this as a bargaining chip in persuading the U.S. to be more accommodating towards Mexican illegal immigrants. Now they've reached a secret deal- Mexico continues drug oppression, and...

You wish you were Chuck Norris

Did you get those from Mancow? I've heard some great 'Chuck Norris facts' on his show, such as: Chuck Norris lost his virginity before his dad did. Chuck Norris doesn't pay his taxes. He just mails the IRS a picture of himself crouched and ready to attack.
