You've yet to display any evidence that you have anything of value to offer.

    The Movie Thread

300- A masterful piece of artwork, wrapped in irony. I suppose this would go unnoticed by most American viewers, but the great irony of 300, is the way the film portrays Europeans defending their homeland against Middle Eastern invaders... and yet the core values of these 'Europeans'...

My first post; some observations on trading.

Certain personality flaws are guaranteed career killers, and certain flaws- while costly- can be dealt with and survived. Your innate flaws are very similar to my own, and belong to the latter category, fortunately for you. Judging by this post alone, I'd say you probably have some pretty...

You can thank your parents and friends for TRADING failure

And to think, all of that wasted talent- They could have learned to become our competitors, exploiting the few little market inefficiencies that remain into oblivion, taking money directly out of my pocket day in and day out. What a pity... NOT!

    Schindler Trading up 17% YTD

Threads like this one separate the envious losers from the real traders for all to see. Losers will bash, and winners will always compliment or keep quiet.

    Successful traders keep silent

And ironically, now that every trader and his mother knows all about the old turtle method (simple trend following), it no longer works nearly as well as it used to. As far as I know, Richard Dennis hasn't made a dime trading since the 1980's.

Republican Senator Larry Craig of Idaho Arrested For Lewd Conduct in Men's Room

We've got 300 million people in this country- You'd think there'd at least be a few great leaders among us. Where have all the great American leaders gone?

    How Hezbollah Defeated Israel

Is that the new term for rocket attacks on civilian homes? Military and economic assets??? Which war were these writers watching?

    Short the Euro/USD Now!

European wages and prices are simply way out of line with ours, and these things have a historical tendency to revert back to the mean. In addition, as Brandon mentioned, Europeans have their share of serious problems too... and their politicians aren't much better than ours.

A Very Interesting Chart Nearing a Few Year High.

He's saying that there was no such thing as the Euro currency back in the 1990's, so how could there be a chart showing Euro prices back then? The answer: I think they calculated the price by combining data from all the different extinct European currencies that went on to form the Euro.

    Marc Cuban on Day Trading

Steve, everyone who's been paying attention already knows that you possess an uncommon talent for trading, and the groundless bashings of some junior member of the Envious Loser Brigade isn't going to persuade anyone otherwise.

    Short the Euro/USD Now!

The Euro will be trading significantly lower vs. the Dollar in 2-3 years from now. My prediction is based on fundamentals, not technical indicators.

    Marc Cuban on Day Trading

Marc Cuban is a brilliant mind, who may or may not have made impulsive and incorrect comments on daytrading. Obviously, I'd be much worse off working a corporate job for 1/20th the money I make trading.

    Black Tuesday

I was wondering when someone would finally ask that, and you're dead right. Trigger shyness is the single worst trait a trader could have, IMO. I've known dozens of traders with the crippling ailment of trigger shyness, and not a single one of them ever went on to build anything...

    Worst call by cramer ever?

...and then there was the time, just a few months ago Cramer was asked by Stephen Colbert about the #1 best stock to own. Cramer's reply: NYX (at 100). T...O...P... ...T...I...C...K...! :p

p/l thread 2007 skeptics and detractors

I'm glad to have had a positive effect on many of you. See, our experience is very different. I'm assuming you never worked in a big office of a major prop firm? I started off in the Schonfeld Chicago office, with full access to Dmitry's P/L numbers. Therefore, right at the start of my...

p/l thread 2007 skeptics and detractors

Actually, the information fell right into my lap. I didn't put any effort into busting him. Why'd you get so pissed at me last year? Lots of guys were PMing me, asking if your blotters were real, and all I could tell them was I didn't think so, but couldn't prove it. Then the truth...
