That's science. As new facts emerge, opinion changes based on those facts. Most religious followers are so convinced there is a god that facts don't matter.

I'm not saying my education or my point of view is right or wrong. I am simply saying it is possible to change someone's mind on the subject. Please explain to me the tangible difference between a belief and a feeling.

Not at all. I have read his books. He admits the universe APPEARS to have been designed because of how all of the little parts fit together. He then proceeds to explain why it IS NOT designed.

When I was young (pre-high school) I used to believe in god only because others did and nobody gave an alternative point of view. Then I grew older and started to learn about the various religions and all of the hypocrisy. The more I compared theories of evolution and physics to what I knew...

Dawkins argues the same. A brainwashing that is passed on from generation to generation. That is a cycle not easily breakable.

Likely the media taking something out of context (shock me). I'm willing to bet that in the book he doesn't explain it as so black and white. Comments such as these also help sell a book pretty well. That being said, they are powerful words from a very smart man.
