I find this extremely compelling, because not only are insiders buying (including a former St. Louis Federal Reserve Member), but Hedgies are buying with both fists, too. Ken Fisher is very bullish, too, going so far as to say refiners are even a good play if oil prices don't even fall...

Damnit. Seriously, this blows. In a mad and corrupt world, it takes comedians like Carlin and Lewis Black to dispense some truth every now and then. Carlin made those of us not numb to world events realize we were not alone, nor crazy, when attempting to affix rationality to outside events.

I love market crashes, when I can selectively buy top quality stocks at fire sale prices. Bring it. People have to eat, have shelter, clothes, health care and gasoline (almost everyone).

Optimism without the ability to observe or accurately comment on objective reality is akin to blind faith. Roll that dice and pray you make your numbers. Realism is a much better lens to be able to react intelligently and protect one's ASSets. ;)

Saudi Arabia is actually going to increase global oil supply by 2%, all by it's lonesome. That doesn't include what Kuwait or other concurring members of OPEC will do in response to Saudi Arabia's move. Now that subsidies for gasoline and diesel are being peeled away in China, India, etc...
