Options expire fri: anyone gonna go crazy til thursday?..heavy buy and sell?...sell and let expire and pocket premiums?...the ES options will soar on the smallest of moves...I'm thinking of buying huge amounts tomorrow for and overnight into Thursday play...get out of it all by thursday...

the key ES support number is 1200...this is the 1 year low...if we BREAK that...could freefall to next support level...ES 1200 is so key...thoughts?

I'll keep you up to date...you are correct though...have NOT traded ES options yet...you are correct on this...

BUT...could easily see by Friday 4:00PM NYTime that the SP has dropped 60-100 and the dow 500-700...wow...maybe buy some ES puts with expiration this Friday...hmmm...

I believe this will exactly happen...geat post...then tues FOMC brings another rally and tonight is forgotten about...

relax...very unlikely the ES goes -40.00...relax...probably buyers step in tomorrow and only closes down -5 or maybe eve up +6 etc...relax...the bad news is priced in right now..

with FOMC on tues and ec new GS earnings this week...ES could range 150 to 200 points this week

so is a eurodollar futures spread tick $12.50 or $25.00??

so I called CME and the dude told me that "all months cosecutive spread" relates to the quarterly contracts (sept, dec, march, june)...so, than yea, sept08/dec08 would fall under the $270 margin rate...thoughts?

what are some margin requirements you get per average credit spread...example: ES currently at 1240 and sell 1190 put and buy 1170 put.etc...
