I don't know of Brooks other than as referenced by other ETers. I wouldn't espouse "a trade every 5-minutes", but there are at least 1 or 2 playable "day-swing" trades a day most of the time.

Your age isn't the issue. If you're bothering to trade at all, you want to make something of your effort... regardless of how old you are. While the "200 day MA test...." trade ranks very high in my preferreds... it of course is not the only one. Others may not be as reliable/profitable as...

Ditto. Other than "anticipating obvious support/resistance to hold"... most trades are reactive. Size the trade up quickly. Act quickly. Set a stop (mental one OK if you're disciplined to act). It's a waste of time to hope to know "why". IF you get to learn why, it usually won't be in time...
