No-Show Joe: White House bizarrely cuts feed to stop Biden taking questions

Really didn't need to bother. Even if Biden did embarrassing "stupid speak", the DemoCrap cheat machine has that and everything else under control.

Powell Flapping His Gums Today (Again) at Noon, ET

Powell has basically said, "we can't afford the risk of doing that".... so the only choice is "inflation and currency debasement into oblivion... almost everybody gets bankrupted!". Bottom Line... The Fed doesn't want to take the blame for the mess they created!! (I keep hoping they/Fed will...

Powell Flapping His Gums Today (Again) at Noon, ET

That's because there will be "inflation up the ass", but he doesn't want anyone to act upon it.... LYING BASTARD! Since when has inflation been "temporary"? (It's progressive and escalating until stopped by monetary restraint.... and looks like we ain't having none of that!)

Powell Flapping His Gums Today (Again) at Noon, ET

Some of Powell's "flappings" are scheduled in advance. I've often thought that his words might be modified to the "current market" if anything appeared to be negative, such as now.... we're not in BIG negative territory, but the Nas is down ~10% from recent high. There might be a clue in all...

Powell Flapping His Gums Today (Again) at Noon, ET

With markets down a bit, should be prepared for his "uber-dove speak" jawboning. (Do we ever run out of adjectives for, "even more dovish than the last time"?) 1. Suggest being careful with your shorts.... 2. Consider being more aggressive about buying for short-term pop 3. Careful on...

TQQQ vs QQQ 22 Years Simulation

"..what people probably expect when they buy and hold TQQQ..." OP's chart shows that the TQQQ dropped from a high of nearly 10,000 to ~75. Who would "B&H" through such a decline? Nobody with any market sense at all would do such a thing? However, next time I'll choose an adjective less harsh...

TQQQ vs QQQ 22 Years Simulation

I can see that. My point was that your chart is meaningless.

A funny thing happens at $15 per hour...

So how is it that I can't find house cleaning services for $20/hr? That's "3x the minimum wage" for exercising the minimum skill of "running a dust rag and a mop"? (I've seen ads for house cleanings wanting $40/hr. What? Are you kidding? There a people with masters degrees in productive...

Not content to merely kill his residents with no power in the cold, Texas Governor ups the ante

Is that like "jumping from the frying pan into the fire"?

TQQQ vs QQQ 22 Years Simulation

Not much meaning in this chart.... mostly because you wouldn't be holding in a leveraged vehicle during a bear market. The chart below justifies trying to do something with the TQQQ instead of the QQQ... if you can handle the volatility.

"We Gotta Be Less White" -- Buddy Brown

    It's a hoot!

Is overtrading when scalping a problem on its own or only because of fees?

Suggest considering... "Scalping is too difficult". Yeah, some will chime in and claim, "I scalp and I'm profitable". My questions would be, "HOW profitable... enough to make it worth your time... better than you'd make flipping burgers"?... and "what percentage of scalpers are successful"...

The US needs to rethink what it is doing with its dollar

    1. Weak dollar benefits competitiveness for international trade. 2. Loose money "economic activity" is actually mostly inflation. 3. Strong dollar (greater buying power) benefits all who hold their assets in the dollar Conclusion... weak dollar promotes inflation and harms almost everyone...

Price action , support resistance does not work in ES

Ditto that. Anybody who's still in the markets "after years" knows what you do. Generous of you to offer help to someone who obviously doesn't yet know, "come here from sick 'em" when it comes to the markets.

Price action , support resistance does not work in ES

That's the problem. We get a bunch of inexperienced traders on ET who claim, "something doesn't work" just because they haven't figured it out. I dunno. People figure it out when they do, or not.

Price action , support resistance does not work in ES

New traders expect/hope there is some simple thing they can learn to "just open a brokerage account and get into the trading game to make money easily".... like "buy/sell a moving average cross", or "buy oversold, sell overbought". Much more to it than that. (If it were really easy to grasp...

Price action , support resistance does not work in ES

    1. The ES is difficult... not because it's cryptic... most of "trouble" is between the ears of traders. 2. "Nothing works"?. Completely wrong notion. (You apparently haven't figured out what works and how. See "point #1".)

Price action , support resistance does not work in ES

Thank you. I say that all too often, and thanks to you, I don't have to this time. :) Note... When S/R "doesn't work"... Price TA is still working. When S/R breaks, when you expected it to hold... as you should expect... that tells you something valuable too.
