Trump Warns Border Crisis "Will Get Much Worse" As Biden Pleads With Migrants "Don't Come Over"

Biden is such a stupid putz (along with his cronies)! First thing he does when he gets into office is reverse Trump's border controls.... welcoming all the tit-sucking parasites, drug dealers, child traffic into the country... doesn't even care if they have COVID (probably other diseases as...

    Tradetax deductions

If you're an individual trader, you can't claim it as an expense. If you're a business you might be able to claim the expense... if you can you'd have to give the guy a 1099 and include the info on your tax return.

IB Margin Requirements on futures are crazy!

IB is known to be conservative about most things... margin requirements, especially. Higher ones are a "safety factor" for both customer and firm.

Is that with rent/mortgage still in abeyance?

INTC seems overbought and overvalued and under pressure

The KISS philosophy says, "trade the chart... exclude all other considerations". Everything investors know, feel, anticipate, hope, fear, etc is reflected in their buying and selling... IOW, the chart. All other considerations are superfluous*. KISS, baby! *This is a "$Million pearl of...

INTC seems overbought and overvalued and under pressure

INTC has been in a trading range for the last 3 years. Best play is to "buy the bottom of the range", "sell the top of the range"... fine-tune in the middle as you choose.

    Stimulus going into iPhones

Apparently the stimmy isn't really necessary for "necessities" (like food and shelter... you know, "Covid relief"?)... so of course it will go for buying a new iPhone... or into Tesla call options in the stock market! From some stories, it seems the "stimmy" isn't really "relief" nor...

A Week Ago Markets Were In A Tizz About Rising Rates

And the Nas was "mini-tanking". Now... today rates are making new 12-month highs... and now nobody is concerned. I guess "stimmy checks" fix everything. :)

Want To Defeat A Country Without Firing A Shot?

    1. Destroy its borders. 2. Destroy its currency. Are not the Biden Administration and the Fed doing exactly that? :(

    Stimulus going into stocks

Hard to fathom the notion that the checks are for "COVID relief" with so much of it being speculated in the stock market or being used to pay down debt. Lots of people have been feeling "flush with cash" from not paying their rent or mortgage... PLUS getting a stimmy check from the government...

Are there more risks with indices?

Not true. In fact, the opposite. I think it's safe to say the "standard of market risk" for traders is the SP500 and/or the Dow 30. From there you either go for higher potential profit with higher risk or for less risk... the "equal weighted SP500" would be such a play as would a fund or ETF...

Thank the fed once again for yet another bubble.

Saw one "piece of digital art" where somebody paid $2.6 Million for it. What? In this digital age? Prolly took 5 minutes to compose. And then there's the Jack Dorsey "1st tweet"... 5 F'n WORDS! $2 Million. Makes the "Banana Taped To Canvas With Duct Tape"... selling for $120,000... look...

Any screeners for sudden price drops or spikes?

Yeah... that would be a good one.... to be able to front-run a price spike. :)

Log scale vs linear scale graphs

Probably no specific advantage. Chart players will use one or both to justify their plays. Each is as valid as the other.

Are there more risks with indices?

If one group has more of the stocks that are doing better, it will outperform. That's most portfolio manager's objective.
