Backtesting does not include the "psychological anxiety/money pressure" (and how it alters your behavior/discipline/hope) you'll experience when trading for real. Trade small at first and work your way up. No need to be in a hurry to get rich. It will all still be there when you are ready.

So... you believe you have a method that works. Next thing to do is trade it sim. If that appears to work out, then trade real money... but SMALL. You will learn things you hadn't considered. If trading small is successful for you, then scale up. If that works, go buy yourself a FERRARI!! :)

Disagree. Exercising/not exercising stops is a "style" thing. You make money (even survive) with your style and discipline.

Are you running from an onboard video chip? If so, you don't need a new computer, maybe just an appropriate video card.

Stops are always a guess. In general, you want to place initial long stops just below chart support and short stops just above chart resistance. As for trailing stops... they are a guess also, but long stops could reasonably go just below "rising bottoms" support or "prior dip low" support...

I don't know that it is. I'm a science guy and accustomed to thinking that way. With a Mars landing, you have known variables which can be calculated and projected. With the correlations in TA forming "anywhere on the chart", you don't have known values from which to start or where they will...
