Years ago and for a long time (before the days of the "Fed interventionist market"), historically the market was basically flat on average from May-Nov. Nearly all of the gains were made from Nov-May. Don't know if that correlation exists these days.

One day she says, "might have to raise rates a bit to cope with this inflation". (Maybe that was a trial balloon to see how the markets might react?) Market goes down 1% that day. Next day she comes out with, "I never said that".

The marketplace ditched it for them long ago. Total trading cost in the ES has been lower than the big contract all along.... reduced slippage probably being the biggest saver.

"20 years" is completely irrelevant. The market dynamics (and who is powering the move, whatever it is) are only relevant to NOW. (The market's "what" and "who is driving it?" shifts over time.) "20 years ago" market history is irrelevant to now... other than "chart support and resistance"...

The official inflation rate is a cover for government deficit spending. Expect no veritas in any regard of what the government says it is. They want the sheeple to "swallow it, hook line and sinker", regardless of the facts.
