Forget Going Back to the Office—People Are Just Quitting Instead

That's one of the things I like most about the net. You can hide in your mom's basement, get away with being nasty, snarky and stupid as a box of rocks... and nobody knows who you are. If there were any indication you have a brain, I might take offense.

Survey shows people no longer believe working hard will lead to a better life

Of course... and you're likely to be wealthy-er along the way for the effort. Besides, you're sure to end up in nowhere'sville if you don't bother trying. I've got 2 personal stories about guys who started out in "regular" jobs (one worked at Home Depot, the other managed a Village Inn...

Obligations when you have a Series 65

Don't know about that specifically. Being a fiduciary as an RIA is kind of a way of thinking and behaving... always disclose everything, customer's interests first, no shady deals, honesty at all times, etc. Have you had an audit of your RIA? Years ago some RIAs could go an entire career...

Obligations when you have a Series 65

As an RIA, you are required to act as a fiduciary in all dealings with customers/clients.

Forget Going Back to the Office—People Are Just Quitting Instead

I started working from home long before it became fashionable. I used to dress up in a suit and commute through the traffic every day. Now I don't dress up for work at all. (In fact, I can't dress up... I think I lost my tie.) :)

Roger Waters Tells "Little Pr**k" Z'berg To "F**k Off" Following Request To Use Pink Floyd Song

Pink Floyd song writer Roger Waters slammed Mark Zuckerberg during a press conference recently, announcing that the Facebook owner had offered a “huge, huge amount of money” to use the iconic song Another Brick In The Wall Part II in an advert for Instagram. Speaking at an event to raise...

    Donnie calls bitcoin a scam

You might be lucky, you never know. Do you have a tracker of sorts which calculates your value in real-time or do you have to do the calculation yourself by hand?

Debt-to-GDP: Why can't it raise to infinitum?

Well be fortunate if we end up ONLY as bad as Japan. :(

I can't get the parts to fix my car.

One of the downsides to the government paying people to stay home and play video games... instead of going to work and making things.

    Wash sale question

I think not. The wash sale would come into play when you want to claim a loss but have bought an issue within 30 days which is "substantially the same" as the one you are looking to claim loss upon. What would be an example of "substantially the same"? How about if you sold a fund described...

    Window Manager for multiple monitors

I think video card makers want to have a product that anyone might buy whether they have DP or HDMI display. Some of Nvidia's lines of cards have eliminated HDMI and have only DP. Whether the user has DP monitors or "TV as monitor", there is no need for HDMI port on video card as there are...

Critical Race Theory - Parents fight back

A major part of Obama's Lefty Agenda to "fundamentally transform America". :(

    Window Manager for multiple monitors

Windows 10 allows a window and even sub-windows to span 2 or more monitor screens. I also have Nvidia Quadro View installed (it's part of the default install from Nvidia drivers). Maybe that's the case if you don't have "too many" windows displayed at one time.. (??) I have 3x screens in my...

    Donnie calls bitcoin a scam

There was a story about some family who had bought ~$8,000 worth of Shiba and saw it turn into $7.8 Million. They were happy :) How much did you pay for your "millions", if you don't mind the asking?

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

Seems logical but I don't know that we can count on that this time. If the Fed tightens rates and credit, the markets and the economy will come crashing down. It's likely they won't do that because they don't want to be the "scapegoat" for the crash. So then.... if they can't find a "jumping...

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

Agree. Unfortunately both are bad for the citizenry. Just how is it that (1) everything you buy costs more and (2) the money you have will buy less... is good? Taken to the extreme, which historically is what happens, almost every "common citizen" becomes effectively bankrupt. Where's the...

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

The "average American" doesn''t understand the ramifications of run-away inflation. (Stock market soars... home prices soar... and everything turns to SHIT because of a currency debased into garbage! Heaven help us all.) :(

Why is Blackrock buying every single family house they can find, paying 20-50% above asking price?

Blackrock has a history of buying into RE when prices are low, then dumping when prices are high. DAMN... I hope they are not right this time. HUGE inflation ahead if their play is correct. :(

You guys REALLY need to be more analytical like me...

Trading the markets successfully is all about having a simple set of rules... which correlate with "usual market behavior"... which are simple enough that you can execute them with discipline. All else is folly.
