Are you excited about Windows 11?

I read that and mine meet that requirement, but the list of CPUs Microsoft specified does not include my current nor former CPU. In the Xeon line, the list specified "W-2223 or better", and doesn't list the Xeon E5 in any configuration. (I guess I'll just have to continue to enjoy W10.) :)

Are you excited about Windows 11?

Terrified, more like it. Looks like hardware needs to be close to new to run W11. The current top of the line Dell single socket workstation I bought 2 years ago is not on the list of acceptable CPUs. Upgrade would cost a few hundred $$$.

How does being rewarded with BTC work.... if you mine you will for certain receive some proportionate amount of BTC or is it that you MIGHT receive some BTC but only if your mining efforts are successful?

U.S. Trans Olympic Athlete: ‘My Goal Is To Win The Olympics So I Can Burn A U.S. Flag On The Podium

If they're going to be in the Olympics at all, they should have their own category... Tranny vs. Tranny. Doubt there'd be much interest beyond the LGBT community.

Need help on position sizing/risk - 86% win rate - .5% per trade

That's not the part we are curious about. The question is about how there can be a 62% drawdown with 86% win rate.

real estate gain tax on land?

My thinking... Your cost basis is the cost of the land plus the cost of improvements. It won't matter that you purchased the land years before building upon it. If you sell at a profit and if you've lived in the house for your primary residence in at least 2 of the prior 5 years, you'll get...

Talked about "talking about talking about tapering"

If issued "bi-annually" (sic), wouldn't it be the "least-used-word-of-the-half-year" award??

Talked about "talking about talking about tapering"

Same sort of thing. The notions of "rate hikes" and "tapering" are all about liquidity and "reigning-in the availability and price of credit". Any restriction is a negative... but "how much" of a negative? Enough to derail the economy or markets or more of a "bother for now"? I don't recall...

Talked about "talking about talking about tapering"

Historically the markets have actually celebrated when interest rates start to hike.... with the notion, "rates are up because the economy is doing well/better", so the rate hike is no biggie. The markets have tolerated/deflected a few-to-several hikes with the notion, "the economy is strong...

    Donnie calls bitcoin a scam

I couldn't find the story on the net, but it went something like this.... Some guy told a friend about Shiba and so the friend bought some. It went up. He bought some more. It went up more. He told his mom and the rest of his family, so they bought some. Went up more, so they "scraped...

Obligations when you have a Series 65

More than just that. If you receive a commission for selling a product or service, you need to disclose that too. If you have a choice to recommend a "no load" product where you make no commission and a "load" product where you do receive commission... you need to justify your recommendations...
