I dont have the stomach to do what KK does in a meaningful way,but if one were to trade his style,the mantra Money never Rests would lead most Canslim/momo traders to extinction.. You are right for your style of trading,but Deadog is right for Momo players...

Deaddog was mentioning one reason why he feels traders fail... Are you saying "Money never Rests" is a positive trading trait or negative??? It appears you are both referencing the same trait,but with different outcomes

he paid 38 for the calander..The leg he sold for 4100 bucks,he bought bsck for 5 bucks..His long option is trading at 70.30.. 70.30- 38= 32.3 in profit(minus the .05 to close the short option.So he made 32.25 or 3225 dollars on 38/3800 dollar calander..killer trade.....so far..hes currently...

He's up big on the trade..He put on the 990 calander ...Bought the short leg back for .05..

According to his blog,MarketSmith is as high-end as it gets..He also uses Seeking Alpha and TC2000 .. You are making much more of this than it is...

The basic Canslim(modifed) principles drive the Ryans,Minervini and KK of the world of MoMo.Its also the same followers/students who win the Investing Challenges...So i strongly disagree with L&S on that one. I have backtested every fundamental system known to man,so its clear its the voodoo...

David Ryan,who does not set off the BS meter is supposedly up 1300% + over the last 3 years..Thats a guy who plays it pretty dam close to Canslim and must have accelerating earnings.. If you listen to these guys,they do not trade options,do not double down and have tight stops... I can barely...

Right there is what makes him "special"..lucky or not,he was able to rewire his brain and buy stocks up 700 percent plus with ZERO fundamentals in no growth industries.. And if that's not hard enough,he rides those beasts....

Stupid question,but why do you think he crushes it as opposed to you doing "well"... David Ryan has also put up monster numbers the last 3 years... Im tired of trading vol and am going to take a shot on direction... probably a good time to short the market :)

Basing the calander off the price off of a modified distribution that Orats calciulates.. Have you looked at rolling either side?

Without analyzing the spread thru Orats,I would GTFO and look for some fly around 1000.. Don't love 60 dollar calendars with the short .25 of the long.. I'll analyze later,maybe there is edge,but I doubt it
