Thats a factor on short term yield trades..

Whats the all in commish/clearing on a box?? I was getting crushed trading 4-5 leg trades at IB

Or buy short term treasuries at 4.70 plus

Tough to trust a guy who claims he's up 500k in 2 months,spent 20k in commissions and has a hard time annualising his commish bill. 240k????

Ild add if you can show some documentation on your research and the level of effort/commitment put forth, you should be a highly desirable hire.. Not many people "Pursue/Live their dream" and make the sacrifices you did.... There is no shame in not reaching the summit,theres only shame in not...

Steve,don't be too hard on yourself...This is a new beginning, and IMHO you will be a far happier person pursuing something you enjoy as opposed to obsessed with.. The good news is trading will always be there ,and you may find yourself a far superior trader/ investor with a steady paycheck...

How does trading options in your supersystem require more capital than stocks??? You are employing leverage,juicing returns IF correct,so you are long options... So how does a long option position tie up more capital??? Ild really like to see what Delta options you are buying.. I'm dubious :)

Why not get an interesting job to start out, do the "work" and trade off of dailys while building up the nest egg??? Of coursre being exposed to some of the best and the brightest helps in ant enseavor, butmy biggest concern for those starting out in their 20's is blowout risk..

The newer format includes a price chart where the author place by or sell recommendations you can get a quick feel for how decent they are. And even if the author has an agenda,the "readers" replys come out of the woodwork to dispute it,and are fairly adept at doing so.. With that said,I didnt...

Trading is the only "profession" in the world where guys walk in off the steet and think they are good to go without any training or prep..

If you look,you can get a $90 inteo offer.. If you are interested in Fundamental research, its not bad....You will have conflicting opinions on the articles presented,but that's a good thing as you get different perspectives.. Whatcrype of trader are you,and what are you looking for???
