The obvious mistake was you didn't delta hedge in any way shspe or form.Bare minimum,you should have been rolling your put spread up by selling flys and taking in credits,perhaps rolling your short call spread up at the same time. No way should you lose the max on a condor with a way move...

I rarely if ever cover the .05 options unless it was vs a spread and the spread is now a big debit and consequently a pure directional bet..I dont like short nickles against long dollars... Do you auto close your .01-.02 options???

You have to make an assumption on how the diaganol trades with a move... Start with what,as in what range, causes the pain on the diaganol

Were you trading firm capital?? I find that under portfolio margin,if you dont manage your pennies,the margin explodes on you and instead of looking to put shit on that makes real money, you are left scrambling to get under margin... Not too mention the nastygram I get from my broker...

No true..Dude was short put spread in TSLA,stock dropped after hours,got assigned on the short put and for some reason no auto exercise on the long put..Guy came in long 500 shares of that beast
