Nice trade man, I have to admit I thought you were nuts going long when you did. Good stop placement. :)

LEH is a great franchise and Wall Street will not let it go the way of BSC

Exactly totally uneccessary, still waiting for his highness to have some humble pie here.

The fact that es hasn't rallied a tick on this buyout is scary. Course with LEH floating in the wind you would have to be crazy not to be flat or hedged into the weekend. next short maybe at 1220.

LEH is a great franchise and Wall Street will not let it go the way of BSC

If this event occurs you will see the mother of all rallies. I was tempted to go long some index calls as we will likely see some resolution by monday. I would never bet against Tim Geitner. I don't understand where you are getting your share price from. I am guessing $10.00 is generous (this is...

    The skew part II

I second that motion, he has given out more info for free than you would get in a $2,0000 seminar, along with riskarb option coach and a few others. By the way if you you write an ebook for this type of info I would gladly buy it. :)

You have to chop a leg, I would never hold a long straddle for more than a day. This just lets you be positioned before the market picks its direction, short bias for today.

You are reading my mind good time to leg into a long straddle.

Just a comment you should post here if it helps you as a trader, whether or not you want to play by buy1's rules is up to the poster. Remember that we all have the ignore function. For example, I am mostly a scalper on spy so that you may find my trading posts a distraction if you a long term...

Buy1 I disagreee with you about gap fills they are very important to me on an intraday and longer time frames. My experience is that gaps fill usually just a matter of time. Here is a big gap fill on GOOG took 3 months to fill. Just one man's opinion.

Someone on another thread was asking about reversals. Standard response is only fools pick bottoms, blah blah. Here is the spy reversal on a ten minute chart, I usually wait for a wick then enter with a tight stop. This was a good runner and I caught a piece of it. Lawrence sorry for your loss...

What is your definition of a "reversal"?

Here is a 10 minute chart of GOOG was looking for a reversal around 417 it actually came around 415. If this was easy everyone would do it. You want your stop close a few points underneath.
