Up here in the frozen north we take the most technically advanced animal (Man) arm him to the teeth with the most advance weaponry and pit him against the dumbest animal we can find. (Moose) And here is where integrity and being ethical comes in. To make it a fair fight we add alcohol. :)

If you had to start over...

I agree with risk management. I lose a lot but I keep the losses small.

    Risk Management is the answer

That's what I've been saying for years. The response I get on ET is if it were that easy we'd all be millionaires. Want to lose weight? Eat less and exercise more. If it were that easy we'd all be skinny. Go figure!!

    It's a beautiful day

Notice it is called Fishing, not Catching. You don't even have to get a fish involved to have an excellent day!! :)

Own Cryptocurrency? Watch this. | Robert Reich

If the bitcoin network has screwed me, and it hasn't so far as I'm not speculating, it that it hasn't really lived up to its hype of being either a currency or a store of value. Granted I can buy goods and services with my bitcoin, not unlike I can buy goods and services with my Canadian dollar...

If you had to start over...

If I use back testing it's to prove that whatever bright idea I just had doesn't work. If I can't prove that it doesn't work then I'll forward test the idea. Have a theory; backtest it over a period of time. Now back test it over a different period of time. Now back test it on a different...

Own Cryptocurrency? Watch this. | Robert Reich

Isn't that what the video implies? There are no regulations or rules. It's the wild west. Make up the rules as you go along. Anytime you have a self regulating system it seems the little guy gets screwed. Anytime government steps into protect the little guy, the little guy gets screwed worse.

If you had to start over...

Maybe. Like any other tool it depends on how you use it. For what it's worth I don't use it, although I do use patterns that have occurred before.

If you had to start over...

Where do you fit planning and back testing? I suppose it would be in statistics. I would want to learn how the market works and how is the best way for me to profit from it.

Can't think of anything else I'd rather do. I haven't found anyone who will look after my money with the same care as I do and believe me I have tried.

The White House's take on crypto mining

That's exactly why I'm bringing it up. If something happens to you then what happens to your crypto that is protected by your key. My assets are documented so that in the case of my being removed from the population unexpectedly, my family knows where they are and has access to them. There is...

The White House's take on crypto mining

I don't plan on being scammed and if I am I'll probably have recourse as I don't use crypto. You didn't answer my question as to how many people have access to your key. I'm assuming at least 3.

The White House's take on crypto mining

So one of the costs of using bitcoin is that you might get scammed and have no recourse. You are responsible for doing due diligence whenever you buy something online. If the vendor doesn't ship or ships a poor quality (not as advertised) product, you just write that off as a cost of doing...
