I'm starting to see a pattern here Vic. You post an expectation and TSLA moves in the opposite direction. That's a great superpower to have at your disposal. Why not try predicting a drop in price and see what happpens.

I guess it depends on where you live and what you consider decent. I google cost of living in US and get 61K/yr average. I would hope "decent" would be a step or two above average. I know I'd be hard pressed to maintain my lifestyle on less than 100k.

The question being if the US has debt, who holds the paper? What happens if they default on that debt? Who is left holding the bag?

Let you winners run!! For how long? Until they hit the trailing stop. It's not a time based rule it's a price action rule. It's how you manage your trade. You don't necessarily have to trail your stop at a very specific range. You can use trend lines, MAs or price action to exit a trade...

If you don't know then I'm guessing that no one else does either. I'd quit trading until I figured it out.

I don't know what a risk exit is. If buying more is the answer then why are you not doing that.

What is your process? How do you determine that it is time to take a profit? Have you considered scaling out?

Lies, damned lies and statistics. Doesn't matter what leverage, at the end of the day you made a couple hundred bucks with a 50k account. The number will be more significant after a month. What really matters is your account balance.

OK I see. you made a couple hundred bucks on a 50K account. Thats 0.5% on the account. Hope your luck continues. Not sure what you are trading. When you say several trades are you just planning on taking a small percentage on each trade?

Is that 0.5% profit on your total account or only on one trade?

Ah!! FOMO. I never worry about missing the bottom or getting out at the top. I want a little chunk out of the middle.

What's the downside if you do that.
