Why have I never seen any offer of money manager here?

I don't think they can. But they give the impression that they can and demand a fee for that service. No I think the training they get probably keeps their performance close to average. To get whatever certification they have they have to give the same answers as everyone else. I don't know...

Why have I never seen any offer of money manager here?

That is exactly what the financial industry wants us to believe. That we need a professional to manage our portfolio. I don't mind paying someone to do that but I expect the manager to do much better than the market. By that I don't mean that my portfolio is down 39% when the market is down...

K, I think I just figured out how to get almost GUARANTEED edge...

I did that in 2000. Didn't work out all that well as I watched my nest egg lose 50% of its value. Came up with a trend following system that took me out of the market in 2008. Back in in 2009 I got lucky last year as the system wanted to take me out last Dec but I put off selling to avoid cap...

    How often you're 80%-100% sure ?

Not sure I understand what this has to do with venture capitalism. Are you saying that venture capital has a higher risk adjusted rate of return. The blackjack part I understand, determine when the deck is in your favor and bet more. And having an edge trading I understand. when the...

    How often you're 80%-100% sure ?

I'm always 100% sure a trade will work out. I'll either take a loss or a gain as per plan. I just can't be sure which.
