How long did it take you to realize that you were a gambler?

We also control when we bet and how much we bet. With a card counting strategy black-jack can be beaten. We don't win every bet or every session but we give ourselves an edge that is profitable over the long run.

Looking at the method I believe if the signal is to close higher you buy at the end of the day and sell and reverse the next day at the close if the signal show lower. If the signal the next day at the close shows higher you continue to hold. No target no stop.

Trader Loses $377,000 Day Trading TSLA

In other threads you stated that regulations prevented you from showing performance. Do these regulations not apply to those who are making these claims? And I believe I have asked before but could you show us what regulations prevent you from showing performance.

I agree. It's not how many times you are correct that matters; it's how much you make when you are correct vs how much you lose when you are not.

10/2 How I'm trading inverses on Trump's covid dx: UVXY SDOW SPXS SQQQ TZA

I can see that for entering a position. Don't know about exiting with a loss. Seem like you would just end up with a bigger loss over a number of trades. After all a stop loss doesn't prevent losses it just keeps them small. I prefer to call them capital preservation exits.

If I have time I'll tune in. What I am curious about is why you scale out of a loser? Please take some time to explain that concept. Especially with swing trading. If your swing trade hits your stop, the point at which you determined you should get out, why would you not close the whole...

Could you clarify scale out of losers at 2 day lows? When your position makes a 2 day low how many tranches do you scale out and a what point. Let's use SQQQ as an example; On Friday you bought twice once for 24.25 and then at 24.13 You didn't specify if these buys were in 2 different...

best strategy for to grow a small cash account

Why is that? If you theoretically can make more money with singe stocks, why would you trade an ETF where the losers drag the performance down.

Make sure you are not paying any commission. Swing trade. Have a plan for each trade and stick to it. Read O'Neil's "How to make money in stocks"

Really? There might be one or two but they are rare. They are like unicorns. I've read about them, seen pictures of them, even seen videos of them running through the forest but I have never seen one in real life. Did I mention the sasquatch.

What is the threshold to be considered a successful day trader?

FWIW; My win rates slightly less than 40%. My Return is in the 20% area. I agree with KISS and I strongly recommend that traders spend the time to develop a plan.

Another day trader bites the dust

It's an industry. Convince the public that they are too dumb to understand the market and charge a couple percent to underperform. Nice money if you can get it. Don't want too much competition. Regulate the industry so that only who you choose can play.
