Taking historical risk reward is still theoretical. Past performance disclaimer. Too many factors can effect your plan but you have to start somewhere. Better than have no plan at all. It is called discipline. Successful trades don't always have a good outcome.

It is your choice how to take it. You can choose be offended or have your feelings hurt or just consider the source of the comment and choose to let it slide. It is completely up to you. You can't control what others do but you can control how you react.

If you think you can trade your way out of trouble, take your loss and start over. Maybe you'll find a stock that will move in your direction. Losses are inevitable. Keep them small.

I'm not about to teach anyone how to trade. However if someone is trading and having problems I have no problem helping them solve their problems if I can. Having another trader take a look at what you are doing sometimes helps.
