Swing Trading For a Consistent Return

With 64 stocks what kind of moves are you targeting in your swing trading? I typically target a 15 to 20% move in 1 to 4 weeks.

Swing Trading For a Consistent Return

I watch a whole market not just 64 stocks and I have trouble finding more than a few set-ups at a time. You might consider tightening up your entry requirements.

This is Not a stock market, its a casino

If you know what you are doing and have a strategy with an edge you can make money in a casino. (Black Jack and Poker) Like a casino the stock market is not there for you to make money; it's there for the people who run the market to make money.

It is better not to be a full time trader, less is more in trading...

I consider myself a full time trader. I fund my lifestyle by trading. I only spend at the most an hour a day trading. I'm a swing trader and I let the market take me in and out of trades. I've day traded and found I make about the same returns when I swing trade. In that respect I agree less...

The meaning of risk. What does risk mean to you?

You must be a better talker than I am. I know no one who is willing to lend 5 figures to someone with no visible means of support. Unfortunately I never was a collector and have very few assets I'm willing to part with. That being said the likelihood of my blowing up my account is very very...

The meaning of risk. What does risk mean to you?

I'd be more concerned about where I'd get the capital to start again. I sure as hell don't want to go back to work.

    2021 Trading Competition

I believe you get bragging rights. If you win or place highly in the competition you can use that to show prospective investors that you are capable of managing money. It cost you to enter and you link an actual brokerage account so you're trading your own money. No demo or sim accounts. As...

    Mindset of a losing trader

All I saying is write down the process. Write down the rules that are fixed. When you get to the math part say "use math". Recognizing patterns is similar to driving a car; the more you look the more you see and understand. But the rules are not about patterns they are about the process you...

    Mindset of a losing trader

Don't I know it. I sat down thinking it would take me 1/2 an hour or so 15 years ago. A couple weeks later I had a draft. It's still a work in progress although Write it down so a six year old could follow your process. Step by step in the order you chose what to trade, when to trade, how much...

    How to splash it.

Not really. They (whoever They are) have done studies where they wired up peoples brains and studied the results. What they found is that the people who gave were happy, the people who received were happy and surprisingly the people who witnessed it were happy.

Random acts of kindness. Makes everyone feel good.

    Mindset of a losing trader

Absolutely. That's a given. TripleJs problem seems to be not following his own well thought out plan. For whatever reason writing down a process seems to magnify the likelihood that you will follow the process.
