Diversification; If 4 traders lose 20% and one doubles their account you are ahead of the game. Figuring out the tax liability will be confusing.

Educators who Have Zero proof they even trade (99%) - wtf?

Well maybe like trading you have to take what the market gives you. Apparently actual trading is not important to prospective customer. You are selling courses, not trading for a living. Might be time to rethink your marketing strategy. What seems to be important is results. You are trading a...

    Institutional Buying/Selling

No the OP just was curious about the process. I'm aware of dark pools and brokerage crosses. Years go I listened to Cramers rant. There are posters here who claim to have worked for hedge funds and was wondering if they could add anything.

I did find this; "Each ATS is required to report to FINRA its weekly aggregate volume information on a security-by-security basis. FINRA will publish the information regarding Tier 1 NMS stocks (i.e., stocks in the S&P 500 Index, the Russell 1000 Index and certain ETPs) on a two-week delayed...

OK if 99% don't have proof they trade then aside from yourself, who does? When I Google "online stock trading course reviews" I get a bunch of Best trading courses from several different sites. There are several that repeat. Any reason they would be highly rated if they were scams?

    Institutional Buying/Selling

One thing I would like to know, that I've had trouble finding, is the process institutions use to hide their buying and selling of positions. I make assumptions based on price action and volume but it would be nice to hear from someone who has actually been involved.

    Reactionary vs Forecasting

The problem I see with forecasting rather than reacting is that when you forecast, you might be proven wrong which is hard on your ego.

I'm self taught. How did you learn to trade? Did you use any sort of educator?

Educators who Have Zero proof they even trade (99%) - wtf?

Does it matter if the educator is trading live or on a sym or just showing trades in hindsight. What is important is whether they are imparting anything of value to their students. I haven't had much experience with educators. I have received some complimentary courses from brokers, supposedly...

Trading using with candlesticks only and nothing else

I reviewed his interview with Schwager and it seems he was a trader. To start he turned 5 grand into 200K. Then his returns in the 10 years preceding the interview were over 40% annually.
