Exxon Weighs Taking Gas-to-Bitcoin Pilot to Four Countries

Up here in the Frozen North they throw food away because the health regulations won't allow them to give it away. There has to be some kind of civilization close to where they are flaring. I'll bet there is some kind of regulation or subsidy or monopoly that prevents producing cheap power.

Exxon Weighs Taking Gas-to-Bitcoin Pilot to Four Countries

But it is a source of power. If it can power bitcoin miners it should be able to power other industries. Seems a waste to flare it when it can be put to some kind of use.

How will you deal with the Big Crash? What is your plan?

Every position has a stop in place to protect capital. This strategy kept me out of the 2008 and 2020 drawdowns.

Position Management - the Unfortunate Afterthought

In fairness you said experiened traders, not successful trader. I doubt there are too many successful traders without some process for managing positions. I too am surprised at the number of traders that feel they do not need a plan. They follow Will Rogers; "Buy a stock and when it goes up...

He makes his money working the moneyshow circiut and selling How to Trade stuff. He says he can't publish results but I beleive he is allowed to, as long as he can prove they are legit. Too bad you blocked him, I enjoyed the back and forth, great entertainment value.

Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Jeez That's harsh! Trolling has such negative connotations. Keeping you on your toes is more like it. Holding you responsible for your own actions. Trying to help you by showing you the error of your ways. Nine is concerned about your financial well being. He is one of your biggest supporters...

    Tesla TSLA has topped

Not really. Didn't meet my buy criteria. I've got to the point where I hardly waste any mental capital worrying about shoulda, coulda etc. I follow a process that protects my capital while allowing the opportunity to capitalize on a rising market. Not worried about retirement amounts, I'm retired.

I hope you're right and i wish you the best of luck. I'm not anti Tesla, I'm pro some sort of risk control. I get it with risk comes reward. You take more than I'm willing to so maybe I'm just jealous. :)

changing my mind on day trading

I guess it depends on how you want to spend your time. I went the other way from day trading to swing trading.(Stocks, long only) I found it to be less stressful. I make decisions when the market is closed. I didn't keep good enough records to really compare the two but my returns are about the...
