    Profiting from Crypto meltdown

Supply and demand!! At some price the supply will dry up and if you want to buy you'll have to pay up. No different than trading a stock.

    Tesla TSLA has topped

Might well be. Lets see where it goes from here, there might be better opportunities. I saw something somewhere that suggested maybe $500 and another that thought as low as $100.

    Crypto Macro Trends for 2022

I'm working on that John. I doubt I'll make a transaction as I'm technically illiterate and live in a small rural community that as far as I know doesn't have anywhere I could spend my bitcoin. Looking into the pros and cons of hard wallets. Still waiting for the down trend to end. Not sure...

    Crypto Macro Trends for 2022

Well I got interested in bitcoin as a trade after a conversation with JohnArb. It was in a downtrend at the time so I let it slide. It didn't show any sign of breaking the trend until Mar 27 when it traded at 46K. It was a false breakout and I was out Apr 1 with a small loss. Now I waiting for...

    Crypto Macro Trends for 2022

You know that there is a strategy where you let an asset bottom and buy on the way up? You might not get the bottom but you don't have to sit and watch the value of your investment decline as the price drops. If price drops after you buy just take a small loss and wait for the next opportunity.

    Profiting from Crypto meltdown

To wait for the trend to change then start building a position. I've been waiting for a while.

WSJ: Wall Street Reluctantly Embraces Crypto

Here's my take on the fundamentals. Let me know if I've missed anything. Bitcoin Fundamentals. Bitcoin doesn't exist. It's virtual. Definition of virtual -Existing in the mind, especially as a product of the imagination. -Created by computer technology and appearing to exist It's a series of...

    Trading a bear market

I just go to cash. Long only funds lose in a bear market because they have to be invested. No one will buy a stock fund that doesn't have any stocks.

    Rats leaving the sinking ship?

It's called the golden rule. The guy with the gold gets to make the rules. The medium of exchange won't change that. Having a limited number of bitcoin will just make it easier to manipulate.

    Trading a bear market

Really?? I thought Mar 7 would be a good time to short, price was breaking down, stop at 24.50.

    Trading a bear market

Really; I find that risk control is much tougher when shorting. All I can lose buying a stock is my initial investment. My losses short are unlimited. I learned a valuable lesson when a stock I had shorted got bought out at a premium to the price it was trading at that was much higher than my stop.

So you elect or appoint a leader? Or is it the last man standing?

    Rats leaving the sinking ship?

You'll do fine until you run up against someone just like you.

    Rats leaving the sinking ship?

How is hard money going to change that? I think that regardless of where the money comes from that wealth will be distributed unevenly as people take advantage of one another.

    Rats leaving the sinking ship?

So bitcoins value is if/when the system we know today collapses. How is bitcoin going to lead to freedom and smaller government? It sounds good but I think it will be difficult to achieve. Just one example of how a hard money will reduce the size of a bloated government will do.

    Rats leaving the sinking ship?

The same questions are to make you think. I've seen the light. I'm not saying you can't make any money with bitcoin. I'm saying it's in a downtrend and until that changes your better off in cash. I know it's fiat but it's accepted just about anywhere.

    Crypto Macro Trends for 2022

I manage each position according to plan. The plan says not to hold any losers so I'm up to about 70% cash. Taking lots of small losses. Taking smaller and smaller starting positions with the intention of scaling in if the position moves in my direction. Energy and materials have been the bright...

    Rats leaving the sinking ship?

Why crypto? What value is it? Bitcoin showed up in 2008, today there are over 10,000 crypto currencies. Tomorrow that number will probably increase to the point they will all be worthless. Guns and ammo are over rated. What do you plan to do with them. Shoot your neighbor and take his food...
