    daytrading price targets

Thirty days of watching the market. I've heard this method suggested before. Market Wizard LBR suggested that a new trader watch the market for a week and write down the price at the end of each 5 minute bar. By the end of a week you'll have pretty good idea of how the market moves.

Suicides are coming in Luna's wake

Well my buddy SML has given himself a 5 year timeframe so I'm sure it'll be a little less than every 6 months. Of course he admits he doesn't know what he's doing so it's liable to be less than that.

Feels like we are tethering on a crash...

Did someone forget to tell the stock market. The best way to make money is not to lose money. I've been heavily in cash as the market trends down. The best way to control your risk is to have a strategy that takes you out of a bear market. Nothing wrong with cash!!

Give me some closed end funds/ETFs/ETNs or anything else that might beat QQQs

If qqq is good then the tripple q's should be almost 3 times as good if you can stomach the drawdowns.

Suicides are coming in Luna's wake

No problem. That shouldn't take too long, all you have to do is double your $5,000 about 8 times. Ah the beauty of compounding.

Suicides are coming in Luna's wake

I hate to quash your dreams but 1 million ain't nearly enough. If you figure in inflation you probably run out of money in 10 years or less.

Losses just aren't that bad. Even long strings of them.

I don't understand why too many business expenses are a mistake. I can see where too many unnecessary business expences might be considered a mistake /like buying a new car because you can write it off / but carefully planned expenses, necessary to make a profit are part of doing business. I...

Losses just aren't that bad. Even long strings of them.

Not exactly sure what you mean but that's normal.:D Because I cannot possibly know what the market will do next (That's not one of my super powers) all I can know is when I'm wrong and what I'll do about it. Now I don't consider being wrong a mistake. It's something I plan for. So a series of...

That's an interesting analogy How do you relate logging to trading? It's what I did before I traded and I'm having trouble seeing any similarities.

Market Crash? Not Yet.... So Far, Just Orderly Nervousness

Sorry Vinc, Didn't mean to get on your nerves. I'm sure you are providing a valueable service telling us about what you are doing. Kind of like listening to a weather forecast a day late. I know I don't have to read your posts but it's like driving by an accident, gotta take a look. I'm always...

Coinbase: All your base, I mean coins are belong to us

Thanks John. The only point I'm not clear on is that the whole system seems to depend on miners to get transactions recorded. Is there a possibility, even a very remote one, that the price of bitcoin drops enough that miners won't be profitable? No miners no transactions. It might be the...

Coinbase: All your base, I mean coins are belong to us

Does this make any sense? 8. Transaction fee handling Each Bitcoin transaction has a transaction fee attached to it. This fee is included in order to incentivize Bitcoin miners to include the transaction in the next block of transactions. The larger the size of your transaction, the higher...

Coinbase: All your base, I mean coins are belong to us

Hey John; I've been looking down the rabbit hole, haven't gone down it yet. If you were to transfer from coin base to your wallet, how long would it take and how much would it cost in fees. (Convert that to fiat so I can understand) I ask about the time because I'm reading about a reduction in...

Investors haven’t begun to price in recession: Here’s how far the S&P 500 could fall

LOL I have to assume pharmaceuticals rather than street drugs or you'd have a lot more than 5k to play with. Does your job give you any edge in the pharma sector? How many months left in your plan?
