EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

Well how much have you lost? 60% of a million is still a pretty nice sum of cash. Calling people names doesn't make it any less true. Gaslighting is getting you to see reality.

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

Don't be sorry. I'm doing okay. I'll let the magic of compounding work for me. A couple percent here and a couple percent there, it all adds up. As long as I look after my capital I can always grab the next opportunity. Good luck with your millions.

Michael Saylor’s MicroStrategy doubles down on Bitcoin-

We have different approaches. I believe in compounding gains and protecting the capital I have. It's easy to build wealth in a bull market but difficult to watch it evaporate in a bear market. The problem I see with long term investing is that there is no risk control. If you are wrong you not...

Michael Saylor’s MicroStrategy doubles down on Bitcoin-

Seriously!! We are turning billionaires into multi millionaires. Even if you only had one bitcoin at 99 cents you have made roughly 20k. But you have just watched your investment drop by over 45k. What kind of investment strategy is that?

Sorry for the misunderstanding; When you said I mistakenly assumed you were referring to yourself. Sorry you haven't made any profit this year.

Now if you complete that research you'll find that being out of the market the worst days would have increased your gains significantly. You actually gain more by being out of the market. It's the same as hoping for a stock to recover. If you're down 10% you only have to gain 11% to recover...

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

Have you asked yourself what the downside of being in cash until the market turns around is? I'm not assuming I can pick bottoms ot tops but I can ride trends. Want to know which way the market is going? Draw a line chart and ask a six year old. Deaddog strategy. Buy stuff that's going up. If...

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

I don't think I ever mentioned oil stocks. I'm still holding mine although they are on a short leash. And I haven't said bitcoin won't go back up. I just don't see the value in it. I'm a speculator, not a long term investor. I like my capital to be earning a return. If/when bitcoin starts to...

EU agrees to tame 'Wild West' with new crypto market rules

You've made a profit. How do you do that if you are a long term investor with diamond hands? Without getting too personal can you give us an example of a profit you made this year?

You're like a junk collector. Picking up stuff other people have thrown away, hoping some day someone will need it and you'll be able to sell at a profit. Oh you'll make a little here and there and end up with a great collection of junk.

Luxury watchmaker Breitling starts accepting Bitcoin for purchases

If the population is thinking in dollars and they are not going to benifit (only merchants benifit) then why will it be adopted. Is there enough peer to peer transactions to really benifit the population? With a trusted third party, if there is a scam or fraud, transactions can be reversed.

Luxury watchmaker Breitling starts accepting Bitcoin for purchases

I'm old. I always have a wrist watch but I don't carry my phone everywhere. I remember a kid explaining the apple watch to me. One of the features was if you wanted to know the time you just looked at your wrist instead of having to take your phone out of your pocket. Different generations. :)

Current Bear Market is Worst Ever Recorded, Report Shows

I kind of understand the dollar cost averaging thing. But why not wait for a turn around and dollar cost average on the way up? If the price continues to fall you have dead money until it gets back to your purchase price.
