What Happened to INR (the ETF)?

Probably one of those "the market can remain irrational far longer than you can remain solvent" kind of things. I remember some of the old closed end funds used to trade at a pretty consistent discount or premium to NAV for years, and this is now pretty much the same thing as they were.

Ken Fisher’s ‘Horrifying’ Comments Lead Advisors to Break Non-Disclosure Agreements

Maybe an overreaction but couldn't have happened to a better person. The guy's a world class jackass.

Did I just break CBOE system, or some broker's?

I experienced this all the time with IB, although the size seemed to change day by day or even intraday, probably depending how busy their brokers were. Sometimes as low as a 5 contract spread and sometimes as high as 20.

What are the chances and possible timing of a China crackdown in HK and how can we trade it?

I think you're selling yourself short:D From the perspective of a young person in Hong Kong, they've got probably a double digit chance of pulling it off right here right now. That diminishes to a single digits to tenths of digit percent chance of it happening again in their lifetime if this...

What are the chances and possible timing of a China crackdown in HK and how can we trade it?

It's a rather absurd thing to say that protesters are "nuts" to want independence or at least some amount of freedom vice living under an unelected autocracy that is China. I would think it would be "nuts" to want anything less!

Are S/R on an index ETF usable areas??

It is useless to talk weak form efficient markets with a chartist, they've bought into a cult that makes them feel part of a special club and people mocking them actually enhances that effect for them. I've moved to substituting "behavioral finance" in for whatever breaking a teacup over...

    Brokers dont like News Trader?

How is this any different than trading stock/commodity/derivative! That's about as obvious and useful as advice to "buy low and sell high"!

    Portfolio Margin Question

First, a 1% dividend results in a drop in stock price of 1% on the ex date. The company has to actually be growing at a rate the justifies a 12% growth in stock price to counteract that 12% drop over the course of the year from a 12% dividend rate. This perception that a stock dividend works...

Yeah, pretty clearly displaying the characteristics of NPD at a minimum. The lack of self-awareness is hard to believe.

    wrongful-death settlement, taxes and trusts

What's hilarious is that after bigot boy here lets loose at you for putting him on ignore with: "How typical. First step: disagree with the other person, second step: call the other person names, make it personal, third step: get outraged, fourth step: yell at the other person, fifth step: shut...

    wrongful-death settlement, taxes and trusts

You haven't stated a single fact there buddy, you've listed a bunch of your bigoted "observations". In fact, the one "fact" you listed I clearly showed to be completely and utterly false by providing you the actual source document that your "fact" allegedly came from. Sadly, it appears that...

Again this is really a corporate action, in this case a partial spin-off of their ownership in another company.

    The Shaw Family Admission Plan

I don't disagree that there are a lot more problems and eliminating non-profit status won't solve all or even many of them. I just don't see non-profit status as in any way justifiable as it's own, admittedly perhaps small, issue. Especially when universities can literally risk free arb by the...

    Selling SPX boxes for interest

They very well may end up with a bunch of positions, since they're boxes the risk is bounded to the effective interest so it costs them nothing to hold them except their cost of capital.

SEC accuses three men of $100 mln binary option scam

At one point Nadex was the only place that had daily options expirations, and there were strategies that benefited/used that. To be honest now that CBOE has added MWF PM expirations, combined with Nadex raising their commissions (they used to cap them per transaction), I don't really use them...

    wrongful-death settlement, taxes and trusts

You truly are a narcissist to the level that it's impossible for you to conceive of having ever been wrong, even when it's pointed out to you in black and white, aren't you ("hard to come by more recent figures, most likely because of liberal and PC whitewash" when you were given a direct link...

SEC accuses three men of $100 mln binary option scam

That's interesting logic, how about you deliver me 100 contracts of VIX? How about 100 contracts of Case Schiller Home Prices. How about 100 contracts of PJM Western Hub Real-time Peak MWH? I could go on and on and on about non-deliverable futures, fops, and even the cash settled CBOE index...
