    Wind Power

Actually there are thousands in the North Sea that nobody can see (see what I did there!). If you go far enough out they're not visible, and a shockingly large part of the East Coast waterfront is in places like NC and Virginia where there really isn't anyone who is anyone living on the water...

Will the HFT algorithms and AI based trading software be available to retail traders ?

Have we even established that NQ moves on it's own...it is an index of individual stocks after all. Certainly agree that MNQ isn't leading anything!

The economist who helped invent the proposed wealth tax

A few things to think about. What if a person's parents were the efficient ones? Grandparents? Not that I'm necessarily advocating for taxing inheritances away, just saying your argument could have unintended consequences since it seems to depend on having somehow "earned" wealth or continuing...

The economist who helped invent the proposed wealth tax

At some point you had to have cash to buy them. Actually the real product to avoid this is real estate. You can basically state the value of a property at almost whatever you want, the more upmarket the less likely that there are objective comps and throw in overseas and you can almost just make...

The cost of not being "woke".

Making a joke that is known to offend people is being an asshole, no matter if you're a man or a woman telling the joke. You're very clearly saying to everyone that whatever jollies you get from telling the joke are worth more than their discomfort. You may not think that's asshole behavior, but...

Peter Navarro, top economic adviser on China, fabricated economic source alter ego

We already make millions of gallons of ethanol and biodiesel and there's some promising work with alage and yeast to make it less environmentally damaging. Hydrocarbons don't have to come from fossil fuel located in hostile countries. Not to mention if we moved everything but jets off fossil...

The cost of not being "woke".

Ah, the good of days when women and minorities were "no one" and we could just not give a fuck if they cared or not. What's bullshit is anyone's insistince that they be allowed to be an asshole without consequence. You are certainly free to be an asshole and the rest of us are free to not...

    Vertical Option Spreads at Expiration

A European option can't be exercised early, that's what makes it a European option (confusing name really). And it's a native order type on the CBOE cob. This is a common thing done all the time, so no, there isn't really any way to "break" it if you use European style options. The only...

The cost of not being "woke".

Yeah, in addition to screening out assholes the no asshole rule also does a good job of screening out the tough guys who are covering for some sort of real or perceived deficiency on their part or flat out mental illness. There's definitely an inverse correlation between talking tough and...

    Virgin Galactic

Some of us only have another 40-50 years left before we die of old age.....so we're stuck with Virgin Galactic.:D

    Vertical Option Spreads at Expiration

One more thing to think about, some brokers (Interactive Brokers specifically) will require that you have enough funds in your account to purchase the stock when exercised for the entire amount of your spread if the price were to fall in the middle of the spread and the two legs didn't cancel...

The Best and Worst Presidents (According to the Stock Market)

And with half his brain irradiated away probably still could locate Colorado, Louisiana, Alabama, and Mexico on a map, something our current President apparently can't do.

The cost of not being "woke".

What you all who don't actually know Ken Fischer are missing is that the guy is really just a dick and has been for years......while as @bone mentioned significantly underperforming on any measure you care to use. No matter how anti-PC you are he's still just a jerk, plain and simple. I'm...

The Best and Worst Presidents (According to the Stock Market)

I found it fascinating to study the Carter years now as an adult after having my initial beliefs on his administration completely determined by my very conservative parents view of him (which incidentally always confused me because he was the most true Christian of recent Presidents but my...

The Best and Worst Presidents (According to the Stock Market)

The fundamental attribution error is a well established concept in behavioral psychology, unfortunately most outside that field and those with formal business training seem to have even heard of it much less understand it.

The Best and Worst Presidents (According to the Stock Market)

He's willfully blind to anything outside his echo chamber, I wouldn't waste any time on him.

Homemade HFT - how close can a retail trader get?

I've found the slowest piece of the puzzle was the broker checking if I had enough margin to place the trade before sending it on, so I would agree with @traider and maybe focus on brokers who have optimized that piece if you don't have the funding to bypass it.

How to make an inflation play?

Seriously, you haven't the faintest clue what you're talking about. Just stop already, get an education, and then we'll all be happy to engage in intelligent conversation with you.
