well..you can try to compare Sch D procceds and 1099B. you should be able to see, if they are reported or not on 1099. i would call IB and ask them about it on top of that.i trade US stocks and on my 1099B i only got gross proceeds in box 2. that's it.

1099 B provided by IB does not have any gains or losses in it. again-if you talking about 1099-B-it will show your total proceeds and that's about it. btw-there is about 20 different 1099's.which one you are referring to?

and any decent lawyer is not going to have a problem to identify your ownership and contributions in this LLC and take them away. it's all myths. i'm going to order some books about asset protection, but even without them,after some reading on internet, it's pretty clear to me that LLC is not...

if LLC does not elect M2M wash sale rule does apply. all this incorporation stuff is one big gray area, because regular CPA's doesn't know shit about LLC and trading and ones who does-cost waay more than just regular CPA. i would consider incorporation only if you making 200-300K or more...

i do agree with all above,but..brother or sister can be sued too.. losing the interest because you poor and have no assets is one part..hard to achieve..second part(or approach) is to show, that there is will be no easy money for lawyers.
