    Buckeyes are #1

The winning team is not always the "better" team. Ever hear the expression "Any Given Sunday"? Better still....know anything about the 1954 World Series? Giants swept the Indians in four games. An almost unimaginable task. Then of course, the '69 Mets (bless their souls). Buster...

    If Women Ruled the World

Notice #1 (scroll down to The Male Rules) http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=9799&perpage=6&pagenumber=25 And don't let my wife know I posted this TWICE:confused:

    Do you tip?

Everybody knows.......the brokers are supposed to give YOU tips:) Yes, well that is what makes tipping logical. I gives incentive. On both sides. To tip, and to serve. :)rs7

    If Women Ruled the World

    You mean they don't already????

    Do you tip?

I don't either...unless I see that the person is really overwhelmed and still has a smile and a pleasant manner. In which case I will give a small tip (5% or so) or a dollar, if I am just picking up one order.

    Buckeyes are #1

Ideally, this would be great for the fans, sponsors, schools, etc. But in reality....how feasable is "win or go home" format for football? How many games can be played to elimination at the cost of how many injuries? Just not practical (IMHO). But it would be fun to watch...Football just isn't...

Funding a Hedge Fund, How Easy?

Too bummed over Giant's heartbreaking loss (and this only 2 nights after the 'Canes)...and this again in addition to too much beer (ok..a shooter or 3 of Kettle One)...so I am not in my usually razor edge state to answer the question in a coherent way...but I am looped enough to try. Trade...

    Super Bowl

The real screw up was the holder.....it was only 3rd down...had another shot if he had a brain. Or been coached what to do. Someone is to blame. Probably Max401:) (kidding, Max....belated happy new year (at the risk of being repetitious), and a very prosperous one for all of us). Peace, Rs7

    Super Bowl

True, but if you are as it sounds (like me...both a Jet and Giant fan....btw....how come that is possible, and it is utterly IMPOSSIBLE to be both a Met and Yankee fan?), well, at least we've seen the Giants in a bunch of Superbowls in the past 11 years....and a couple of championships...

    Super Bowl

dilemma over. Great game though. A shame and a pity (IMHO) that the Giants blew an enormous lead, but I have to give credit to the Niners. Great comeback. Garcia....almost took me to the ET FFL Championship. Came up 3 points short. Shoulda started Vick. (I was really just being nice to...

    Super Bowl

Uh oh....what if it comes down to the Giants and Jets? I guess I have to root for the Jets....but these are the kinds of choices I love to have!!! Peace, :)Rs7

    9/11 beer

Exactly my point. But who is encouraging these "common" people, and why are they doing it? Sure they are convinced. Look at their textbooks. Their upbringing. Their whole life experience of learning to hate and to want to fight. And why are those in power not participating directly? Or even...

    9/11 beer

I call that the LYRICS TO A SONG. And yeah, I don't have to believe in religion to believe in God (which I am not sure about in any event....I am not sure I believe or disbelieve....how can any of us know for sure? I just know for me "He" isn't the "god" as described in the bible, the koran...

    9/11 beer

Very true.....I have a friend that could not attend the 40+ funerals he felt he needed to. Too many in too little time. I myself only knew one victim personally. But still, one too many. A friend, and a truly fine person. And every time I think about him, I can't help but ask myself "why?"...

    9/11 beer

Dan...you and I usually agree on most issues. Which is significant in that I look at things generally from the left and you from the right. But here, I disagree, not with your reasoning, which has some logical validity on the surface, but with your failure to see the enormous significance of...

    9/11 beer

On a lighter note My brother had saved a couple of cases of "Billy Beer"......I know some of you must remember that. Well, it soon became apparent the stuff would have "collectable" value. So he stashes it away like some mint baseball cards with the intent of holding it until it's true day...

    Tough Loss, RS7!

Max, my man....tell you this. My first summer after college, riding those UN-AIRCONDITIONED cars was worse than hell! Tie and jacket days, felt like throwing myself in front of the train would have been better than getting on 'em):) (Wish I had some of those little tokens.....bet they are...

    Tough Loss, RS7!

Yup, there was holding. But not pass interference. And late? The call wasn't even made by the zebra on the play, who just signaled "incomplete". But there was NO WAY that the intended receiver was impaired from making the catch. The holding probably helped if anything:confused: :(rs7...
