No, it shows up to 5 price levels on the Bid and Ask side. So, lets the say current market is at 9571x9572, market depth will show me the size on 9571, 9570, 9569, 9568, and 9567 on tjhe Bid side and vice versa on the Ask side.

AFterburner, sorry to hear about your loss. Something similar has happened with me as well. I accidentally shorted more when I meant to exit my existing short position, but I realized this right away and covered immediately. Again, sorry to hear about that.

IB will do just fine. You probably wanna start with at least $5K. I would also recommend you start futures trading with the YM instead of the ES and NQ.

Send me a few grand so I can have some more STAYING POWER?
Seriously man...I usually don't criticize since it takes time and effort to even put up a Journal (I haven't been able to do this yet), but this is getting pretty bad.
How about you come forth and tell us what the real deal is? Is...
Hey, do you guys watch the Market Depth on YM to get some clue on S/R? For example, I was watching the depth on YM and saw Bid for over 200 contracts at 9570, so when I shorted it at 9575, I covered at 9571 since the 200 contracts at 9570 weren't gonna let price drop through 9570. And that's...
I don't know if Cyber has this or not; but I really like the ability to be able to trade multiple markets through a single platform. I trade stocks, options and futures throughout the day and having it all on one platform, through one Universal account really helps.

As an Active Trader, I want an easy-to-use platform, quick fills, and low commissions. I get all of that at IB, so I see no reason to switch to Cyber and pay higher commissions. I have yet to call customer service so that's not a selling factor. It all comes to down to speedy executions and...
I decided not to short when I saw TRIN at .59; very bullish. I'd rather sit out a day than have my a$$ handed to me shorting into strength, regardless of the source of this strength. I'm bearish as hell but am sitting this one out. I tried to be a hero last week shorting into strength and my...
I agree. Although VB.NET is supposed to be object-oriented. Haven't had time to look at it....too busy working with Java! I gotta say, VB is so much easier to work with though, unless you have a nice framework already built in Java; which we do so it's not much of an issue.
