    ----I never tried to scalp stocks, tried this afternoon on Forest Oil, my rationale being that oil jumped on Bernanke's vagueness and this company is a sufficiently liquid small cap so the price would be more jumpy than an Exxon or BP.--- way to go! :p

    looks like subpenny trades,could be trades that are executed via dark pools ,could be trades where broker sells his own inventory to retail and post them. but those are my guess. stock marks are wild wild west now..endless list of exchanges,ecn's,dark pools,market centers..ask provider of that...
