    It's 2012: Obama vs. Cheney

I don't foresee him losing (as of today) because I don't see any viable alternative on the Right to step up and fill the shoes of the office. Unfortunately, they will have to wait until 2016 to cultivate the right person to qualify as leadership material.

Someone mentioned above that PTG is a group of Avatar, and since James Tao is associated with both TCP and PTG, logic would dictate... But then again, don't let the facts get in the way of your argument.

Finding and negotiating with a Prime Broker

IB is a good choice. Only need 500k to start, and once you grow and get a little track record, other, better known alternatives will be open to you. With IB, you can do equities, options and futures either in house or give up - cash forex they won't settle from outside vendors but they have...

    exchange access fee

probably because the prop is not providing full pass thru of ECN fees and is skimming from the top. You can always go to the ECN to see what their fee schedule is and compare it to what your prop is passing thru to see if/how much you are cheated by your firm.

Interactive Brokers Platform for Institutional Traders

For currencies and futures thru their API, I am a big fan of NinjaTrader. For equities, that's a sticky issue as you can't use the unbundled commission rate unless you use the Smart Routing execution system otherwise you have to use the bundled rate. If you are one who directs your trades to...

    Broker and software ratings

Start with kiwi_trader's multiple reviews of IB - every time some posts a negative review he has to counter with a positive and brings into question the accuracy of the positive reviews if they are only used to counter negative ones.

Interactive Brokers Platform for Institutional Traders

If there are any institutions using IB they are probably using their own front end via FIX and/or their prime services. And yes they have different CS/dedicated rep if they have problems.

    Futures/Forex brokers offering FIX.

ChoiceFx was the front end they used for their CAX integration

    Futures/Forex brokers offering FIX.

Is Integral the former ChoiceFx/CAX offering that vCap used for it's aggregated price feeds? I noticed on their page that this is the name of the software now used - is it just CAX in new clothes?

    What's wrong with IB?

Just so you don't come here next month bitching in a new thread, if you don't trade minimum commission $30 USD, they charge you $10, and if your account sits inactive, that fee doubles.
