    6E is awesome

Yes zenfire thru Mirus/RCG. The sizing takes a little getting used to if you've been trading spot for a while. Like referenced above, the only real liquidity is in the full contracts (that is until they change the margin requirement on OTC spot fx trading to 10:1 and drive everyone to trade the...

    6E is awesome

Up or down. And that is SO EASY to do with a broker like Mirus and their intraday margins. And before someone chimes in about the dangers of low margin day trading, remember, it is day trading. If you need to hold your position overnight, stay with IB. BTW, Surdo, thx for the pluses about...

    Prop firms-what questions to ask?

read into the above referenced quote: if a b/d uses your deposit as part of it's minimum capital requirements (which most of these CBSX firms do since their capital base is relatively small compared to a Bright or Echo) then the money has to stay with the broker for the lockup period to avoid...

Obamas racist new tax targeting whites.

No one is forcing you to own let alone drive a car. That is a choice you make and as such, requires insurance. Breathing is not a choice but a necessity. You can't compare auto insurance requirement with health insurance requirement as it is 2 different animals. Why do you all not see the...

    Prop firms-what questions to ask?

No prop firms insure your prop deposit. Not Bright, not Echo, not Assent. SIPC insurance protection only applies to retail accounts. Licensed firms are regulated, therefore there are better safeguards for your funds on deposit, but your fund with one of these firms is not insured. Been...

Obamas racist new tax targeting whites.

It went from a Botax to a tanning tax because the Minority leader (Boehner) is a tanning freak and Queen Nancy is a Botox addict.

    Per Contract price

how many contracts do you do a month? casual trader or active trader? If casual, anywhere from 1.7 to 2.5/side (on average - not an absolute). If more active, figure with exchange incentives, you can bring that down to less than $1 per side (sometimes even way less than $1).

    FXDD Going NFA

I used them a couple of years ago when they were an ib for FC Stone before Stone had issues. Overall good experience with the guys - commish was a little high compared to what most are charging now, but generally good experience. Don't know who they ib for now.

    FXDD Going NFA

I was thinking about it but met them at the Expo and boy, what a bunch of assholes. Came across as bad used car salesmen. Also, since they are NFA'd, they are no longer part of Tradition, so their capital base is all theirs now - no parent to watch over them.
