Annoying Pop-up Window in IB's TWS 898.2 Can Not be Dactivated

A guy goes to his doctor because he is not feeling well. He says, "Doc, whenever I raise my arms like this, my shoulder and neck get this sharp pain. The doctor goes over, puts his hand on his shoulder to identify the problem. He then says "If you feel a pain when you raise your arms like that...

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

From the same article: "I don’t think such a tax would significantly affect market liquidity; even if it did, a nudge towards buying and holding would be no bad thing." So buy a dog and later find out it has fleas and you are SOL!

Wow! Was looking at the charts tonite and I see that the Swissy broke 1.02 on its way to parity. It hasn't been at this level in over a year. Everyone has been focusing on the Euro and Pound the others have been rapidly approaching some of these milestones they hit last year. It's going to be...

New commission rates at Velocity Futures

The intraday margins and the commission for nonmembers are pretty competitive. Sweet. But whoever you have that proof-reads copy before it is posted should consider new employment as there are significant errors on the initial/overnight margins posted for some of those contracts on the list...

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

The only way Europe can do this is if the US goes along as well. Without it, capital will flow to the US and Asia and leave Europe as a third word monetary center. Unless USA comes on board, it won't happen.

Hey, its better they TRY to make their case with Kudlow or the Right Wing lunch team then the pacifist Burnett. It would be interesting to see if they push back or tow the company line.
